**Disclaimer**My experience here happened years ago, pre-covid.Was young & still new to the workforce when I was asked to visit Max Employment. They didn't bother to help, the guy told me to fill out a form & sit at the computer to apply for jobs, mind you their computers were not only out of date & very slow but it was also very dirty! They didn't help me get a job at all as I had to get one myself, the guy that had me probably still got paid for me getting myself a job. I advised centrelink that they didn't help & fact probably slowed down the process.

Absolute trash. The bald c*nt named Hermann is unbelievably unprofessional and rude. Avoid this place at all cost and if you're unlucky enough to have been stuck with this place do your best to avoid Hermann.

This place is designed to make you feel bad about yourself. They do not help. Don't waste your time - if you can avoid it.

Waited 2h just to read and sign 2 papers. Pathetic. System needs speeding up. Sorry for those workers trying their best, but I really feel that a lot of other workers don't care enough or have given up hence one worker disappeared and 2-3 more workers were employed. Come on Max Employment you've got a bad rep

I work within the community and have had to accompany clients to their appointments and have seen first hand how terrible they treat vulnerable people here!!!Every member of staff from their management here at this branch to reception are rude! Constantly giving dirty looks, making petty remarks and make you feel very uncomfortable, they talk about you to each other while you're there and within ear shot and give terrible advice.At times, they make you jump through hoops to keep your payments and make snotty remarks to you if you notify them that you are unable to do something.One of my clients has severe social anxiety and finds it incredibly hard to speak to people and relies on me, once I told his employment consultant this, he laughed in his face and said I don't get paid to care".Multiple times they have cut off my clients payments because she didn't show up to their appointment

One of the worst job providers and their consultants are focusing on only disrespecting unemployed people. They only offer very basic jobs like cleaners or car washers. I really don't recommend them for anyone.

Tried to source staff from this outlet of unemployment hell. I feel so sorry for the poor people forced to deal with these hateful jaded gobblers of tax payer dollars. We fund this company to treat our unemployed badly. #canberrafail

Max is not reliable in reimbursing when they say would. I bring my daughter because she my nominee and gets told she makes things worse and is a problem by the consultant. they are hypercritical, unprofessional and make you feel uncomfortable, depressed and worthless after seeing them. We are human beings not animals we deserve to be treated better than that it’s pathetic.

Don't answer their phones. Staff have no experience in helping people find work, and just don't care at all. My aunty had to come in and yell at the manager to get the staff to actually listen to her son. Trying to make a dyslexic kid with yr9 only, do an office admin trainee job. So dumb. He wants to do a trade, put him through work site tickets, fork lift license, pre apprentice course, something useful. Not something he can't do. You just don't care about people at all.

Staff are defensive and belligerent and generally lack knowledge of the processes they are implementing, unwilling to answer questions and just generally condescending.There also appears to be a level of incompetence involved as staff seem to struggle to follow up on promises.Judging by other reviews this doesn't appear to be an uncommon experience.Edit: I don't know how much more information I can give, I was pretty concise.
