Local history interpreted by friendly volunteer guides.The quaint, old-school approach to local history is refreshing. And their efforts to recreate fully functional facilities such as the blacksmith's shed is a great achievement.

A beautiful home on an equally beautiful block of land. Such a valuable part of Tamworth history preserved including furniture and other items for us and future generations to enjoy. Run by friendly volunteers who are more than willing to provide information about the home and its history and significance. Explore each room then the other buildings on the site. A good hour or so to make sure you see everything. Highly recommended. Open Fridays 1pm to 4pm.

That's a little unexpected gem. Learned a lot about local area history, seen curious objects, museum keeper told us engaging stories.Really a treasure capsule.

Wish we could Leave a 6 star review...We love going on adventures, walks or to attractions with meaning and yesterday's tour with the guide was amazing. Of all the guided tours or heritage walks/ historic tours we've been on this was far the best and most thorough in detail, show pieces and story telling. I couldn't recommend this one anymore. The main house has some really amazing historic pieces. A heart felt part of peoples lives lives there.Recommend taking some small change just in case :)
