Australia Post - Daylesford LPO

I’m glad to read that I’m not alone with my feelings on the terrible service from this LPO. The owner of the franchise is the most unfriendly and abrupt, but this obviously filters down to the other staff. He makes everything so difficult and doesn’t seem to be fully across Aust Post services. It can be an uncomfortable experience.

Worst service ever, so over of being treated terrible in this post office. The Chinese guy is rude and doesn't want to serve me because it takes him so long to use the system to transfer money, makes me wait to don't get service.Appart from that they make so difficult to me to get my own packages, but they give to other people without ID and takes me days to find my packages

Slow and dismissive every single time. The use of (personal?) mobile phones to record returned mail seems a bizarre system. I was offered a photograph of the item today on a phone.It's on my phone" was the term used.Multiple times I've been turned away and it turns out there was an item to collect.If it wasn't a necessary service I'd never go there."

The staff here have always been helpful, courteous and with fast service. No complaints from my end. Have been using this post office for the last four years.

They lost a parcel that I paid to be delivered. Melb depot never received it. When I rang to ask where it was, he was incredibly rude and hung up on me. This is the 4th parcel that they have lost. Should not be able to operate a post office.

The rudest manager of a Post Office I've ever encountered. Just called me up to abuse & hang up on me, because I hadn't received the bill to renew my PO Box. No help, advice, just pay or you're cut off. Wouldn't forward bill, yelling, talking fast and aggressive. Why?

I didn’t have a good experience using this LPO even measured by the low Austpost standard.Parcel Collect is meant to be kept in the post office for a month time. But these guys refused to keep them after 2 weeks, they said it would be returned if I didn’t pick it up even though the notification I received from Austpost clearly stated that I had 2 more weeks until the deadline.The staff there pretended they didn’t know this rule and when I showed them the email Austpost sent me with the deadline on it, they still didn’t honour it.Talked to staff from other Austpost which they are all aware how Parcel Collect operates.Avoid this post office if you can.

Luke, the post office manager at the Daylesford LPO, is the most unhelpful person I have ever dealt with in a post office in Australia. He is intentionally obstructive and loves saying 'no' to people, rather than looking for ways he can help. Everyone I have spoken to in town says the same thing. He is a disgrace to Australia Post and deserves to fail in business.
