Katherine River is very beautiful and very serene.Two gorge tour (tickets at Nitmiluk Parks Office) 2019. Well worth it.I had done the nine gorge tour back in 1998 and was disappointed this was no longer available.

Hm its a river so it flows and is slightly divergent on each corner the only place to swim what I know is the low-level bridge its not a official swim spot and u got krokodile science but the local swim here so can't be that bad the river by himself is quite warm...

Katherine has some of the best natural swimming pools within the township area easily accessible dont pass by without a Refreshing dip in the the flowing fresh water springs
