Just wanted to say thanks to Glen and the Hillies team for the great service.

Hilles is a company which has failed our expectations on every level. We have now experienced serious water damage in a bathroom after the 10 year warranty period has expired despite the likelihood the damage is due to failures on their part at the time of our build. Hilles will not review nor consider rectification. Be careful of this company. They promise the world and fail to deliver.

Requested information about building over garage and received the most knowledgeable and professional advice from a very considerate and courteous builder Jim Vass from Hille's. I had phoned a few builders and Hille's was the best and delivered with respect. Thank you!

We have built with Hille's twice and highly recommend their work. Building is stressful, but their approach makes it so much easier.

We recently had our much-loved double-fronted weatherboard home of the last 25+ years renovated by Hille's. This was a project long in the planning and it was with much trepidation that we finally allowed someone to take to our cherished home with a wrecking bar.After a few false starts with designs through other companies, Jim from Hillie's arrived and, during an amazingly quick conversation, solved all the design concerns that we had accumulated and that were blocking our first steps. His practical suggestions and sure and experienced manner gave us the confidence to launch into our two-story makeover. Glenn, Stef and Michael then joined in to ably guide us through the myriad planning and design details. Before we knew it we were looking at the bones of our house laid bare. Such a disconcerting sight! Would it ever go back together again?It was then a privilege to watch as our site manager, Damian, marched a procession of tradesmen through the place; each one bringing inexorable and exciting progress. Damian was brilliant to deal with and a very capable and unflappable builder. Nothing was a problem to him (well, maybe a few things, but they all got solved in the end!) He delivered all the impossible requests that we made of him, and tactfully managed our expectations when we requested miracles. He is a man of admirable building AND people skills.When the job was finished we were left in awe of our beautiful new home. We couldn't be happier with the Hille's team for delivering us a completely new lifestyle in our totally transformed house. We would happily recommend them to anyone contemplating a renovation.Thank you Hille's!

Based on my friend's experience with these clowns, there is no way I will be considering this organisation for any home extension work.They originally entered into a builder's agreement in March 2016 and were assured that construction would be completed by Xmas 2016. However, Hille's total unprofessionalism and unreliability led nowhere, despite verbal advice informing my friend that construction would begin in May... then June...then July.When September arrived, my friend had had more than enough of empty promises and terrible customer service, and cancelled the job.Only then did the Director (Craig) take an interest in matters, but by then it was too late as all trust had been lost. My friend had also placed her family's life on hold and evicted tenants from the rental property they were going to move into during construction. That property is still vacant and has caused my friend great financial loss.So now my friend is out of pocket more than $13,000 (not including the lost rent) and has no choice but to pursue these mavericks through VCAT and a Current Affair (which I am helping her with).They even got lawyers to send her a letter in the hope of intimidating her into removing her review. From the start, we had a clear idea of what design we wanted and Hille’s was able to make this a reality.During the design phase, we requested some specific features which required engineering approval and we thank Glenn for working with us to come up with a solution.The outcome would not have been possible without Travis (Project Manager). He kept us informed on what was happening and worked with us during the build.Travis made us aware of who was coming to the house and as a woman being home by myself during the day I felt comfortable and at ease with all the tradespeople.As a family, we are loving the new spaces and we thank you all for your help.

Our project supervisor kept us well informed during every step of the journey. Their tradesmen were trustworthy, skilled and adaptive to any changes we made.
