Huskisson Beach Bed and Breakfast

Good sized room and bathroom facilities, great location for the beach. Around a 20 minute walk to centre of town, or a 5 minute drive.Room was very cold (we did visit in June).Cold continental breakfast was very disappointing. Each person received one small cereal packet, yoghurt, bread, fruit and a juice. The second day we ended up eating breakfast out. Particularly frustrating as we chose this place based on the fact breakfast was included.

We stayed in the main house. It’s an odd set up but we are open to different. The bathroom door didn’t close properly so you want to have a secure relationship due to the lack of privacy.The bed was soft and was obviously worn, you sink in to a cavity.Breakfast was included and generous, juice, fruit, bread, yoghurt, however if you don’t eat it all they take what’s left away when they make up your room, so too bad if you wanted a later meal. Considering you pay for the breakfast you would expect they would leave it there for you to enjoy at your own pace.There were 2 ladies on the ground level that took up permanent residency on the balcony and watched your every move in and out of the house, they were not friendly, didn’t even smile, they smoke, and if you sleep with your room door open then you have a lovely smell of cigarette smoke to wake up to.Throughout the night there is some weird loud thumping electrical noise, a motor kicking in, multiple times an hour, the air conditioner, well I could fan myself to cool down better that the unit in the small room. Made for a warm nights sleep.Good location across from a nice beach but would not stay there again

Although the location and service were good, the cottage was not comfortable at all. the walls were so thin that it was impossible to find silence in our room.

Our room was small (and advertised as such so it met expectations). Ok for a one night stay. Close to the beach and a short walk to town. Not really a BnB in a traditional sense as there is no common living area or live-in hosts, it's just 5 rooms in a house. Cutlery was dirty and coffee machine a little dusty. Breakfast supplies were plentiful.

1 star for location despite being told room had ocean view which it didn’t-only hedges, carpark and park across the road (beach down hill on other side of park), another star for the bed which was comfortable even though one of the pillowcases was moldy (which they did replace promptly), the room was damp and smelled of mold, we asked for another room but was told it would cost extra. The room was tiny although the bathroom was large ~catering for disability, a disabled person would have trouble navigating the tiny bedroom. The breakfast was good but the room was way overpriced for what you get.

We had a good stay overall, the location was great. There are good aspects and some that need improvement.Walking distance to the main street, moona moona Creek, and the beach. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐The room was small but ok, the bed was perfect and comfortable we had really restful sleep. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐They could definitely invest in better quality towels and some kind of a humidifier or something similar to reduce or eliminate the mould smell in the room. Also the curtains were ruined. Shower didn't have any pressure⭐⭐Breakfast was great and supplied daily. Coffee pods machine was also a great addition in the room. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Very disappointing. We stayed for 3 nights and this place was extremely noisy, surprisingly dirty and the room much smaller than advertised. I didn't get decent sleep even with ear plugs as the main door are super laud and all the walls in this building are too thin, feels more like curtains than walls.Moreover, we were even missing some personal items after cleaners serviced the room on the second day. And our request to check out one day earlier due to all the negative experience we had was met with rude and unhelpful response. I certainly won't come back and can't recommend this place to anyone.

We loved our stay! Our room was comfy and had amazing access to the beach. The backyard had outdoor sofas, a jacuzzi, an electronic grill, a pizza oven, and an ice machine. It was a great value!
