Kabalason Indian Cafe and Restaurant
Had dinner with friends early on a Thursday evening. The place was almost deserted and yet it still took about ten minutes for the entire meal to be served, even identical dishes were minutes apart. The food was alright but nothing to write home about. The beer and wine selection was not great. All in all, we're still looking for a replacement for Clarkson Masala restaurant... and this isn't it.

Was invited to a birthday, so only the guests there for evening. Enjoyed everything. Great variety of food for entrees followed by dancing, then choice of 10 mains with all condiments. Music and dancing was energetic. Cake and plentiful desserts. 6pm - 11pm.

Well decorated Indian restaurant with a dance floor and probably transform into a pub in the evening. Service was a bit slow today. We waited patiently for more than half an hour before food was served at lunch today eventhough the restaurant was empty. Food is good though some of the dishes are rather spicy.

A whole new level of excellence , definitely one of the best south Indian restaurants in Perth , with a good variety of veg and none veg . We ordered a few dishes (lunch )as i came prepared by not having breakfast . Everything was large and definitely this is as close as it gets to south Indian vegetarian . Chutney and Samba was excellent to . Will definitely be returning .There is ticket street parking , free on weekends but they also have a carpark at the back which is free . Some people miss understand Indian hospitality and feel they were rude or treated badly but i haven't met a rude Indian here in Perth especially a restaurateur.

We went out on a Monday evening for some shopping and we decided to eat out. Most of the places in Joondalup are closed on Mondays and we found this restaurant open.And wow, just WOW.The food was out of this world. The best indian food we have ever eaten in Australia.If you go there, get yourself ready to be amazed of the food quality. We had the dinner specials. Very generous portions and very cheap.We will certainly be back. I've added this restaurant at the list of my favourite places to eat.Open 7 days, 11 am to 11 pm.The only thing they can improve there is to bring the drinks a little bit quicker.

Other than the service and atmosphere, everything else was very mediocre. First of all the food takes so long, even the tea it took half an hour to come out. We were the first one there too. The water they served there were specs of black matters in there. The food took nearly 1 hour and the biriyani that came out was almost a porridge. Other food ordered were very average. Big portions though which is nice.

We got takeaway and just ordered from the starters menu. Will definitely be back to try other items off the menu. Food was fresh and delicious. Took a little while, around 30-40mins, to be ready but was worth the wait and I'd factor this in next time.The grocery store next door was really cool to browse while we were waiting too.
