Dive 2000

Very mixed about Dive2000. Had a great time and met many friendly people. We took a number of certification courses to complete my Master Scuba certification. Getting them submitted with PADI has been a pain. It took months initially and the final (Master) certification is not being submitted for reasons unknown to me. Emails remain unanswered and I'm now contacting the other two dive shops I've visited (and taken other courses at) to get this completed.TLDR; recommended for diving. Aftersales leaves a lot to be desired.

Dive 2000 organised a team of 20 divers to visit Wakatobi, SE Sulawesi, Indonesia. I had a fabulous trip. It was well organised, stress free and beautifully managed by Kevin and Cherie. I would highly recommend a trip with Dive 2000. Wakatobi is superb, the diving is stunning and the staff at the resort are friendly and most accommodating. A must to visit.

Josie and Kevin have been amazing as I build on my experience as a diver and underwater (for fun) shooting. When I was ready to buy my own gear, it's the only dive shop I thought about going to. I also pop in for tanks and the occasional advice re: where do I dive this weekend?

Everyone was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I dove with the Saturday shore dive group a few days before Christmas. The weather and conditions were not great, but I like a crew that makes the best of what is available. We dove Shelly Beach and saw a few wobbegong sharks along with a good variety of the local underwater flora and fauna.Afterwards I enjoyed burgers and beer with some of the staff and divers at a local restaurant. It was an excellent experience. I highly recommend Dive 2000. Particularly if you are short on time like I was, or if you just want some relaxing bottom time with a nice group of people.

Wonderful people, patient and helpful. Josie was fantastic in helping us to fit our boys' Open Water courses around a variety of reschedules. Jeevan was an awesome teacher, really putting both boys at ease and making the course enjoyable for both of them, but also thought testing their understanding of theory and skills in the water to ensure they can dive safely going forwards. So glad I chose Dive 2000

The friendliest dive shop in Sydney. The dive club is a real community here. Staffs,Instructors and Dive Masters are super helpful and very willing to share their experiences and knowledge of many years of diving.

The trip was very well organised by Kevin and Cherie Deacon, the diving was amazing along with the company. This was by far the best trip that Dive 2000 have done in my opinion. Wakatobi was a great expericence and one that I hope to do again.

Ordered an item online which was actually out of stock but this was not indicated at any stage of ordering. Would not have known this if I hadn’t called to find out about delivery. Was assured my item would still be delivered on time as they were due to receive stock on Thursday. I followed up on Friday, they said they had already shipped it to me and that I should have received tracking, I didn’t. They said they would resend it, they didn’t.Didn’t receive the item by the time I needed it, attempted to call many different times during opening hours, went unanswered. Emailed many times, went unanswered. Requested a refund, got a response a few days later saying it was processed and would take 5 business days… 5 business days passed, still no refund, followed up again, finally received an email showing that the refund was only just initiated. Received the refund 2 days later.No apology for the inconvenience from the business. Bad service.

Having recently returned from an overseas trip to Indonesia with Dive2000, all I can say is 'wow what a trip'. Carefully chosen locations which gave excellent diving experiences along with the company of a great group of people. Accommodation was fabulous.During all my dealing with Dive2000, I have always found them very helpful and very professional - an excellent team.

Awesome staff. Always helpful and provide constant support. Got to meet many divers from all over the world. Great advise on gears and equipment. Highly recommended
