Kyabram Fauna Park

Did a visit as it was part of Zoo Vic membership.A bit more time needed to establish the same level of experience as for the other Zoo Vic sites.Directional signage, exhibit information and ‘getting to know’ the animals lacking.Much of the older style enclosures. Removed from natural environment and group setting.Watch out for the local birds swooping in the kangaroo area.Will come again in 2-3years

Took my three kids, 4.6years, 2.5years and 4 months to this as part of our Australian holiday to visit family, it's great, the kids has a fantastic day, lunch was lovely and fresh , everyone exhausted but happy!

This park needs serious attention. We had a 25 min wait for coffee as they opened. The bridge to walk over to go to another section needs replacing and there is giant potholes that not even a pram could get through. Most of the animals weren't out. No priority line for members either.

The kids really enjoyed this new addition to the Zoos Victoria family and I'm glad we visited.The staff were really lovely and attentive considering the number of people coming in on the Australia Day public holiday that we visited.I think for it to be a better destination worthy of an almost 5hr round trip of driving for us, going forward, the park needs a few more updates/additions to be able to spend a full day there with some weather protection.It was a hot day on our visit and we were in full sun a lot of the time while walking between animals and displays. Beautiful place with healthy looking animals. We loved the most snake talking part where zoo keeper let the snake wander around a bit while giving us lots of information about reptiles.

An amazing park.There are:KangaroosKoalaDingosCassowaryTasmanian devil.... And so on!!The parking is not a problem.

This Little zoo was a great day out. Set in the beautiful countryside town of Kyabram. The park is very scenic and is easy to access by road. It did take longer to drive from Melbourne than to walk around the Zoo . The food from the zoo at the cafe was very good. The animals were really good. All in all a good day trip from Melbourne

I was pleasantly surprised at how big it is!While not as big as say Melbourne Zoo, Kyabram Fauna Park (KFP) is an excellent place to spend time at.The layout is very use friendly and is essentially a clock face- I recommend going anti clockwise but that’s just my opinion.Accessibility wise while it is level- generally- the oaths are not concrete but gravel, so bare that in mind.I would totally go back again!

Loved it. Will go again and bring the kids along. Cafe was lovely too, excellent service.
