Lawrence Dry Cleaners Rose Bay

I have used this store a few times for both dryclean and clothing repairs. The service is unfriendly and hostile but the outcomes have been ok until now. This time I was charge $38.75 to dryclean a plain cotton dress!! I questioned the amount as I have never paid anything close to that for the dress (or any plain dress) before. They said they didn't have any standard pricing and just charge whatever. I accepted this and my expectations were that it should be immaculately drycleaned. Unfortunately I got it home and found it was damp, had animal hair on it and was hanging for some time on cheap wire coathanger with no padding causing shoulder bumps as you get when leaving it hanging on those things for a few days.I feel totally ripped off and called the store saying I wanted to complain. The store manager wasn't there and the woman I spoke with (very unfriendly again) said that is their standard rate, they use the cheap coathangers and I could bring the dress back for another clean.I don't think they get it at all. You really need to provide a decent service if you want to stay in business as I will never be going there again.

Brought brand new, custom-made white shirts to be pressed for our wedding. Came back to pick them up… they had black marks all over them and they blamed me. Worst dry cleaner in Sydney.

I have been getting our dry-cleaning done here for over ten years. They provide a really quick efficient service and staff are really friendly, knowledgable and helpful. I take all our designer clothes to be cleaned and they always come back in a immaculate condition. One if the things like about this dry cleaners is that I can drive in to drop of my clothes off and never have search for a park. AAA+

Robbers. They do not deserve even a 1 star. Charged $99 for 2 cotton dresses and pants. Never again. Use another company !!!!

Tina, Yanti and the whole team at Lawrence Rose Bay have been nothing but polite, friendly, professional and incredibly customer focused in the many years I have been a Rose Bay resident and a very satisfied customer of this business.Apart from the great customer experience they are animal lovers and my pet dog adores coming for a visit and getting treats (home made by Tina!) at least 3-4 times per week.Lately, however, my experience has been dramatically different and the atmosphere in the shop has changed dramatically.Yesterday in particular, I was confronted by an unfamiliar face behind the counter. The person was abrupt and very rude to the customers before me. I also noted her authoritarianism towards her fellow workers, which created much tension. Tina and Yanti were unable to be their usual happy selves and we were all made to feel very uncomfortable. My customer service experience was certainly sub-standard and nothing like what I have experienced every other time. This new employee does not have the right personality for such a store and does not belong in this area in my opinion.I am also a customer who refuses plastic bags over my clothes and have always been given t his option. Lately, however, when being served by this particular employee I have been told I must use the plastic protector" over my clothes. Surely in this current climate we should be encouraging businesses and customers to refuse plastic??I will definitely not be returning to this business

How to lose a customer in 10 seconds? Charge them $68 for dry cleaning a coat then 2 months later ask for $280 for the same coat & claim it’s not the same coat ! who charge $280 to dry clean a coat anyway ?!We will never be back. This business needs to develop some standards.

I've been dropping our laundry and dry cleaning here for years... after a previous series of incidents with other local cleaners.I can't rate them highly enough on all fronts.Staff...unbelievably friendly and efficient;Speed of service...I drop off and pick up in a matter of minutes and there's dedicated parking right outside the front door;Repairs and Tailoring...on-site lady is fast, caring and accurate;System...always works and I get text messages when my cleaning's ready, invariably the same day;Quality of Cleaning Service...perfect and they've never even hinted at a misplaced item (in fact I've had my own items returned that I didn't know I had dropped off in error - e.g. cufflinks in jacket pockets);Pricing...I believe in line with the quality end of market and what's the price of satisfaction and a reassured, trusted service?

Been there few times, the dry cleaning outcome was pretty okay, but this time staff Yanti was been very unfriendly, kind of rude. just realised the price were crazy expansive. expansive than luxury five stars hotel. a shirt dry clean cost me $33.50, a jumper cost me $66.00. I think the shop try to Rip-off the local residences by charge crazy expansive on the items's brand. please refer to the invoices's photos.

Lawrence Rose Bay charged me $59 to dry clean a linen dress! When I asked for justification/a price list to understand their pricing they told me they just determine it off look and that linen is 'difficult to Iron'... They were extremely rude and knew they had ripped me off. I won't be returning as there is plenty of other dry cleaners in the area that charge less and do a better job.

Why Change a Good Thing.I’ve been using this dry cleaners for quite a few years now, the front staff have been great. They’re knowledgeable, friendly and always bubbly, is find any excuse just to take something down for cleaning just to take some of the three Ladies positivity. Like many of us who live in the surrounding area Laurence Dry cleaners Rose bay is an institution.I pooped into the cleaners this week and felt the tension in the air, I was confronted by someone who just doesn’t belong there, someone who had no empathy and someone who try’s to be someone she’s not. She was rude, abrupt and spoke to the others as if they’d just started working there.They say you only buy from those you like and all I can say to the owner of Laurence Dry cleaners is , Why change something that people like? Why put a face and personality that just doesn’t fit into this area.I can assure you that I will not be returning to this store or any of your locations as you’ve ruined the ingredients of your success and it’s simple, the three ladies that greeted everybody with a smile for many years are the face, the eyes, the mouth and most importantly the brand.I can assure you I’m not the only one to pass comment, your shop has been the topic of conversation and not in a positive way however I’m the only one that’s speaking out on behalf of many.
