Tutor Buddies

I’ve worked with Emily for the past 2 years doing face-to-face learning and online learning. Emily and I made a transition to online learning about a year ago and she made it simple. She was always punctual and ready for me before the lesson began. Ever since the beginning she has always been very accepting and non-judgemental of my situation and my progress. Together we discovered what study techniques work for me which in turn allowed me to become a higher achiever. In Maths I went from getting 17% in year 10 then I started working with Emily and I got 91% in the next exam. Emily has given me skills and helped me gain confidence with Maths and English. Personally I enjoy how she breaks the lessons down and focuses on the upcoming challenges, whilst also planning ahead for assessments and exams later in the year. I generally have 2hour or 3hour lessons with Emily and we always seemed to be able to cover the topics in that time. She is very organised, well prepared and honestly wants the best for her students. I am grateful to have met someone like Emily to help me through high school.

Our journey with Emily (Tutor Buddies) for Maths tutoring started back in 2015 with my daughter Carly in high school and from the first lesson we knew we had found the perfect fit! Emily’s patience, dedication and tailored style of tutoring ensured my daughter felt confident & supported in a subject that had brought her much anxiety! Emily was instrumental in Carly achieving the result she needed to move into her chosen University & degree!We found Emily so impressive, punctual, reliable & adaptable. A regular in our house whether physically or virtually as we continued the tutoring journey with our son Adam in high school. Emily easily adapted her tutoring style to ensure Adam excelled and received a Band 6 High Achiever result in accelerated Maths HSC 2021! A great tutor & mentor who comes highly recommended !

Emily has been tutoring me from years 9-12(HSC) and during this time she has been, not only an amazing tutor, but also a great support person during my studies. She always pushed me to do my best and helped me achieve the best grades I could. She was always prepared with multiple questions/ past papers for me to work on. I ended up achieving an ATAR of 92 which I was very proud of! I could not recommend this company enough if your looking for more motivation or wanting to achieve higher grades!

I've been with Tutor Buddies since 2017 (when I was in year 7) and now I'm in my graduating year and it has been incredibly helpful for all of my schooling. Even during the pandemic my tutor Emily has been amazing with maintaining our weekly lessons online, giving me great resources such as past papers to practice my skills and heaps of notes. This is an awesome service to anyone who is struggling in school and needs a helping hand :)

I am always ahead of class due to their resources and Emily always ensures to go above and beyond for her students ensuring that we figure out ways of understanding things unique to my learning style.
