RoyalGreenHouseDear StephenThe Redevelopment of Campbelltown Uniting Church Hall Complex 2008We were absolutely delighted with the relationships we established with you Stephen and the builders Bert Farina, as well as your oversight of all aspects of the redevelopment of our Hall complex. We thank you for your patience and your great listening skills as our redevelopment committee shared our views and requests. We appreciate this was no easy task. We thank you for the imaginative detail you added to our requests.Bert Farina Company employees were outstanding. Not only did they tackle the complex task with a local heritage listed building, but they also offered options throughout the project that enhanced its usefulness. Amazingly the project was delivered on budget. This was a major plus for a congregation with limited resources.The redevelopment included a front office, minister’s office, counselling/computing room, storerooms, enhanced toilet facilities, a large kitchen (a winner for women who had worked in a small inadequate kitchen for years!) and two halls.Consequently, the halls have been used by English language classes for migrants and refugees, workshops for the local domestic violence service, a bridge club, choirs and people celebrating significant occasions.The air-conditioning of the halls continues to be a bonus, especially when temperatures soar beyond 38°, enabling the congregation to worship in comfort.The congregation wholeheartedly embrace the redevelopment and the way it has offered friendly, comfortable hospitable resources for multiple groups.Thank you, Stephen for your professional and personal oversight, your willingness to listen and synergise ideas which led to enhance results. After working with Stephen for our accommodation buildings, we were more than happy to seek him out again for the conversion of our shearing shed into a function centre.
