Build a Bear Workshop

My daughter went there when she was three. Wasn't an inexpensive experience at all, but such good value! Together with my daughter the lady lovingly, enthusiastically and definitely magically brought her bear 'Brown' to life.She has always wanted to return so despite the price tag, for the sake of the experience, I finally conceded.This time her and her friend were still happy with their stuffed toys, but it takes a special kind of enthusiasm and magic to actually bring bears to life.

I came in to just quickly to get something I'd put on hold and there were a lot of kids in there after school and there was only one girl working and she was doing amazing. She had to help several people make their bears, pay for their things, and kids typing up the certificates. She was really lovely and super kind to all the customers and kids in there. She did the heart ceremony with all the kids and even though she was under a lot of pressure she was doing an amazing job. She even did the heart ceremony with me even though I'm 20 years old XD but it was very lovely because I had never gotten a build-a-bear before. Thank you Kianna! You're doing amazing :)

Been here twice when visiting Canberra and had a great experience both times. Few years ago I built a bear but this time the only one they had left of the one I wanted was already stuffed so I didn't do the full experience but it was fine by me and I was still very happy with my new friend! Staff are friendly and helpful. The bears and clothing are great quality. Some call it pricey but I think it's pretty fair for what you get. Great for kids or nerdy adults. It's a must do everytime I visit Canberra.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! Went there with my sister to get her friend a birthday present, we asked for prices and she yelled at us telling us to look at the tag. When my sister was tryna record a message she didn’t tell us how and when we tried to help my sister and tell her to push the button the lady didn’t tell us we told her the wrong thing. She spoke in a rude tone and was unhelpful the whole. Do not come here on a Friday night!!

Disgusting customer service. Have never felt so unwelcome in a store before. The girl at the counter had the rudest attitude towards us and didn’t even bother to help us. We didn’t even bother buying anything cause we felt so uncomfortable.

Would give 0 if I could.Decided to treat my children to BaB as they had never been and wanted to go all out.We walked in and weren’t greeted so I decided to help my children choose a bear and a costume. We did that and the two young girls behind the counter were still just standing there chatting to each other. I stood there and smiled at them and they just looked away.So I just put the things down and walked away with two now crying children in tow. I’ve been to many build a bear stores around the world and never had this experience anywhere.Absolutely disgusting.

Worst service ever! There wasn’t any kind of a build-a-bear experience, The staff had no time at all for my little girl. Didn’t give her any help. I told the girl she had $50 to spend It ended up costing $70 because i was given zero help! all they were worried about was the payment. Would not do this again! Very upset.

Amazing, staff were very friendly and helpful, buying a bear for our newest grandchild and had our other grandson with us, they got him to build his bear and got him to put in a heart. Made him feel very special

Great for parties to suit a variety of budgets and not just for girls. Very clean and well organised store. Party games included in birthday packages albeit they could have been a bit more thought out ie not a lot of space for 'What's the time Mr. Wolf?'. The included pdf invites are very basic im design and are not editable (I ended up at the dollar shop buying some). The staff are very sweet and create a real special a d magical experience for the kids, are able to keep to a budget and stay on top of the purchases accurately too. All in all, a great experience and lots of fun!

My children and I had a really fun time! The bears (etc) are good quality, and the options for both animals and accessories are quite varied.
