No hot water or pressure in room 1404 water located on roof no time to build up pressure.Staff happy to move us to 804 very grateful, heat and pressure in shower better.Can hear every noise in the street at level 8, including construction, which kicks off at 6.30am, whipper-snipper,And mower kicked in at 7am.Views are great. Some wear and tear on items in rooms.Found leftovers from previous renters.Staff very helpful.Location easy walk to beach and local shops CBD.

It's all about location with this Surfers hotel. It is situated behind a low rise building right on the corner of Laycock Street & one back from the beach front. We had a great view of the beach & rolling surf. The room was ok for the price we paid, with a large balcony & great view. They are presently undergoing renovations

There is no two thoughts, Hotel View was Spectacular. Kitchen had cutlery and utensils and there was cleaning liquid for clothes and dish washing liquid.We had to throw the rubbish ourselves and we have to keep all the utensils back to its original place and furniture to be placed back.There is no house keeping service. Room will not be cleaned daily.They need to improve cleanliness.But, overalll we enjoyed our stay.

The WORST hotel I have stayed at. Very bad customer service and staff were very impatient. I payed for wifi and the room didn't have any. When I called staff they were disrespectful until I told them I wanted a refund then they brought a modem. Only gave me one key for the room. Half the closet was locked and was unable to be opened. Definitely don't recommend this place for a holiday.

Had a great weekend getaway here. In the middle of renovations but our apartment had been done up nice. Lovely sea views from Level 8 just above the complex in front. Easy Check In and Great Location.

paid $550 per night and the location was great but that was it. Room was very run down and a bit dirty. The bed on the Queen room had a big bit of foam on the top of it and very uncomfortable. Fan in second room made noises all night hard to sleep. Sand in the lounge, ice cube trays not filled, air con run off onto the verandah so feet kept getting wet and slippery. Received a letter under our door before leaving asking to clean dishes and take rubbish out otherwise charged extra(really for the price what are we paying for). Would not stay again

We had a great stay and we'll be back. Friendly reception staff and amazing location ( two minutes walk to the beach and five minutes to centre )Ignore the reviews regarding the age of the property. It was clean, the apartment was huge, there's a balcony, the air con was amazing and strong and everything worked as it should.We will stay again because it was also a good price per night with a beach view ( we went in off peak time before school holidays ) We paid $189 per night.Thanks for a great stay and I highly recommend this place for the budget minded travellers.

Appartments seems a little rundown, but you can't expect much for this fair price. Looks like they are doing some renovations so the jacuzzi was out of order. But the front counter staff was very nice. I think his name was Ee. Didn't have access to the rooftop as that too was under construction but I bet the views are nice from up there
