Outstanding food and wine with excellent service. Lots of delicious vegetarian options (must try the eggplant chips) and reasonable prices for what are clearly premium and fresh ingredients. A wonderful setting looking out over the local hills... Definitely worth the drive.

I was treated to lunch at Fowles Winery for Mothers Day with my large family. Although it was extremely busy I enjoyed an excellent Tagine Lamb which was very tasty and plentiful. We experienced very pleasant service from the overworked staff. The merchandise shop was well stocked with interesting products. I purchased a well priced pottery baking dish

Loved our lunch at Fowles Wine! Kids playground in the shade made for a relaxing lunch with friends. Waitress was lovely. Plenty of gluten free options on the menu. Topped off with a great band playing in the garden! Highly recommend.

We have probably driven past here a hundred times and always said we should stop in on day. Well we did and we’re so pleasantly surprised how good this place is. The restaurant is spacious, full of people but not noisy. The menu is extensive which will have coming back to try more options. The tasting areas and retail area are again spacious and well laid out. Highly recommend

Excellent customer service, waitress went above and beyond. The chef even shared his special recipe for one of his condiments! Overall amazing, highly recommend.

Well landscaped winery with a pleasant cellar door and a spacious restaurant with glass walls offering a good view. A courtyard for outdoor dining, a well stocked shop with local produce, rounds it up. Menu has a good selection and the food was good, only issue was the delay between the courses. Apparently a very busy day.

Fowles was perfectly situated half way to our destination. Not sure what was better, the food or the views. Staff were lovely, wasn’t a long wait for food. Buy the home made tomato chutney and a bottle of wine as a souvenir of your visit.

Atmosphere was great - beautiful views, great spacious dining area (although it was busy so was v crowded). Went on a rainy day so outdoors was not used, but I imagine on a glorious day, it would be nice out there.Food was great mostly (scallops entree, mushrooms main & steak main) but the steak we ordered was a lil overcooked actually.Lots of wine to taste and drink and see plenty of people enjoying their drinks but we were on a mission to drive onwards so not for us that day!

An absolute pleasure right from the ease of booking online to the splendid surrounds and glorious scenery to delicious food served imaginatively in a spacious restaurant with friendly, efficient staff. The wines are excellent too! Definitely want to return.

Great place to stop traveling up the Hume. Highly recommended.Food is great, wine is amazing, staff are incredible. Definately worth the visit.If you have kids it's perfect as they have a kids playground too.Sarah Jane really looked after us! Thanks for being such a great host.
