Tim was super helpful, kept me posted on the progress and even let me pick up the car on a bank holiday when they were shut.Anyone looking for a very thorough mechanic who does the job 100% then look no further !

Very unethical mechanic. Took in for a standard 6 month service which typically costs 350 and got charged 1500. No contact was made around a quote or no heads up was given of the works. I even called to check on things and got told all was well and it would be ready soon. Complete suprise that it costs that much - will never go here again.

Tim's an excellent mechanic as are the young guys that work in his shop - he picked up on stuff wrong with my car another mechanic I'd seen missed - and the pulling sensation I'd been feeling prior to him working on my car stopped the car handles the road much better - Tim listens when you talk to him about sounds and things you feel when driving then gives feedback on what he finds he's very professional as are his staff.Professional and ethical us how I'd describe Tim and team and super helpful great customer care and fair pricing.

I have had the worst experience with this business.We recently took our vehicle into T & A Auto Repairs as we had a problem with it, the Mechanic booked us in to have it repaired. The mechanic worked on the vehicle and replaced a part and told us that that will fix the problem, so we paid the bill and went on our way. The next day we noticed the same issue was there and wasnt fixed, so we contacted the mechanic and advised him that we are having the same issue and could we bring it back in to resolve it, when i brought the vehicle in i showed both mechanics that the noise was still there, so he booked us in again and said he would order another part to be replaced. When i dropped it in the second time i was advised that they would look over the vehicle and find out what was causing the problem, i thanked them and asked if they could call me before they perform any repairs so i know what work needs to be done. I then spoke with them later that afternoon and was told they have replaced another part without contacting me first but cant be sure if that has fixed the problem, they now had another bill for me without my authority for repairs to be done, so i went into the shop and politely asked why the work was done without contacting me first and why they replaced something may not have been the issue, this is on top of the first part they replaced that did not fix the issue which i had already paid for. The owner Tim then got very defensive and started screaming at myself while my wife and 2 year son where in the room. My wife had to run out of the office with our son as Tim started Banging his desk and throwing things around his office, he then told us that we are what is wrong with this country and called us Bums" we has that violent and angry that his colleague had to jump in front of him as he charged at me through the front door. He then stormed out the back

Tim was recommended to me by a retired mechanic, he has serviced both my cars this year and done a fantastic job looking after my pride and joys.I find him to be very knowledgeable and extremely competitive with servicing and car repairs.I would recommend this garage.

Had a roadworthy performed on my car here. Tim was fine to deal with at this point. After a few days of driving I noticed some pulling of the car to the left and a crooked steering wheel, so I called Tim and he asked me to bring it for a look.I Drove the car 45 minutes to Tim’s workshop only to be berated and stood over by him during a test drive. I was careful not to accuse Tim of missing these issues in the roadworthy, as I know very little about cars. I simply described what I had experienced to him. Tim quickly became irate because he felt that I had questioned his work. He began to speak over me, not giving me a chance to further explain the situation. When I got a chance to reveal some information to him, he accused me of lying and trying to profiteer from him. Even as an adult male I felt intimated throughout this exchange. I can only imagine how a younger person or a female would feel in the same position.In the end, I refused Tim’s offer to pay for a wheel alignment on the car as I didn’t want to deal with him anymore. If you enjoy good customer service and being treated respectfully, seek out another mechanic.Update: the clutch throwout bearing has just failed on this car. In the pre-purchase inspection I asked tim to perform, I specifically requested that he look at the clutch and tell me what condition it was in. He said it is fine and will survive for at least 6 more months. Evidently this wasn’t the case. I doubt he even inspected it at all. It is very lucky I could easily get the car to my mechanic.Update 2: as part of my ‘pre purchase inspection’ I also asked Tim to inspect the head gaskets to confirm they were not leaking. I’ve just taken my first look under the car and they are weeping heavily. Not only did he miss this, but it is also roadworthy issue which wasn’t addressed. I’ll be raising a complaint with Vicroads shortly.

Really good to deal with Tim has helped me out quickly twice now and the service is reasonable and efficient. Would recommend!
