I wish -5 was a rating option. Today I went into the post office to send a card via express mail to NZ. Now call me ignorant, but I wasn't aware that this would require a different sort of envelope than within Australia. I have only ever sent large parcels that require weighing first.I paid for the express envelope, filled it out and then dropped it back at the desk as per the saleswoman's instructions.Half an hour later I got a call from a lovely young lady, who said that there was a problem and the envelope was incorrect.I went back in, they told me I never mentioned my card was for international dispatch, which is not wrong but I did show her the card with the international address on it. Whenever I have asked for assistance with postage I always get asked if it is international or domestic, but this lady didn't ask so I didn't think to mention it. The lady started yelling at me that it was my fault, and said I could reuse the envelope and buy a new one. I said I would prefer to get a refund and then buy the correct envelope. She said no because I should have mentioned that it was for international dispatch. I said she never asked and so she ripped open the envelope nearly ripping my card in the process, slammed my card on the desk, and told me to go over there to get your refund!" She then stormed into the back room. When she came back out she said "get refund and then decide what to do" as she slammed things on the counter and slammed cupboard doors etc...I took my refund and left. I understand that I should have mentioned it

The lady working was on her own and had a number of customers with multiple parcels, but she stayed calm and focused. She worked very fast and was still very friendly and helpful even though she clearly had reasons to be frustrated about the workload. Thank you for a good experience at Australian post.

Once I had dropped the parcel was given to this office, the item was scanned so I had a reference .I also paid for a signature on delivery, called my client and had his full understanding. He did not have a card left to pick up. Never scanned again, never seen again, and I had to give a full refund to my client of course. I was notified today they could not help me, it had gone missing or lost. They were fully aware that I was adament that this item was stolen. There are only a man and wife team, with causal help, and one driver that does the run everyday.

I wish I can give them -5 stars, went today to pickup my phone from Optus a d due to slight name mistake on parcel I but been told by Asian guy my name does t match with my license. I rang Optus and they wanted to speak with that guy but be was so rude and doesn't want to speak to anyone. And lady goes to me like OH MY GOD" very rude and ignorant people.Won't go there

Australia Post - Seaford LPO
Tracking showed my package delivered. I called StarTrack who said they couldn’t leave the package but left a note for redelivered. No note was left. They said they would redeliver but after a week still no package. Two weeks after the package was supposed to be delivered the Seaford Post office texted to say they had the package and we had to pick it up from there or they would return to sender. Upon pick up the chap there insisted there was a card left in my letter box saying to pick up the package. He was rude and didn’t care that the mail carrier hadn’t left us any notices about the package and the tracking system wasn’t up to date. The staff in the post office where less than friendly and the service regarding the delivery was atrocious.

I honestly wish i could give a 0/5 star rating. I tried to post an ordinary christmas card with one stamp, a rude man that was working at the office claimed in a angry tone that i needed two stamps to post this card because it was too large"

Like others, I'd also give a minus score if I could.This is not the first time I have experienced rude treatment by the manager/owner/franchisee of the post office, but today I feel compelled to share my experience here.This man (whose name I do not know) is NEVER friendly. He barely cracks a smile and always looks irritated to have to serve anyone. If you are in customer service, learn to greet people warmly and make customers feel valued.Today I went in with my application summary to inform the ATO of my husband's passing. I have put this off as it is not a fun task for me.As usual, barely a grunt of acknowledgement. He saw what the application was and that I was clearly the widow and offered no sympathy, not even an I'm so sorry for your loss". He rudely asked for my ID

Do you often make it impossible for disabled customers to communicate with you in a civil manner. My friend has a package that is with you now, but you refuse to help in any way with himself or Patterson Lakes post office which is his local post office. The package could be moved to his PLPO but you falsely claim the package isn’t there in order to be deliberately difficult. I wonder what Australia post will have to say about your behaviour, I doubt they'll like hearing about it.

This man Spike would have to be the fastest Australia Post employee/RepI have just got my passport renewal. Spike ask for all the forms, and made it all happen faster than you can blink. Spike I really hope Australia post senior staff get to read this compliment, as you are constantly Friendly, Fast, with a very pleasant mannerism. Thanks for the great service
