Brilliant morning trip.Great comms prior to the day, super friendly and passionate staff, top quality gear and saw loads.A good workout for the arms, we visited numerous islands, saw sting rays, and learnt loads about the local environment.The two chaps who took us out were 10/10.Highly recommend.

Salty Dog Sea Kayaking
Our family did the 1/2 day sea kayaking with Salty Dog, and it was our favourite activity for the entire trip. The thing I enjoyed most was a quick snorkel on the Island where we had a break half-way, just wished I could have stayed out for longer! Overall, this was a really well run tour!

Salty Dog Sea Kayaking
We went out on a half day trip from Shute Harbour today as part of our P&O cruise. We went out past Shute Island and back. Myself and my partner are not avid kayakers and were a tad apprehensive but the two guides were absolutely wonderful. We felt very safe in their hands, the equipment provided to us was top notch and easy to understand, and the little demonstration at the start ensured my partner and I didn’t end up divorced by the end of the day due to the kayak controls. The added bonus of information about the local ecosystems, and how it all connects was the icing on the cake!

Wow!!! That's all we have to say about these guys. We were a large group of kayakers from Brisbane that did an amazing 6 day adventure. Right from the start our guide Lachlan Drummond (or Lachie as we liked to call him) was just amazing. He was knowledgeable, professional and made our trip one to truly remember. We didn't have the best weather for the first part of our trip but Lachie, through all of his wilderness skills, went to work building us plenty of shelter with tarps and trees. He was a lot of fun joining in our nightly games and the whole group was made to feel safe every day. Apart from the amazing Whitsunday Islands the highlight of the trip was the Food provided by Hayley the owner. Even though we were camping the food was 5 star restaurant quality, and a huge hit with our group!! Simply an outstanding experience that's filled with amazing memories! We can't wait to go back next year!!!

Salty Dog staff were knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.We hired a double kayak from them and had planned to do a 5 day kayaking trip. In day one we had to adjust paddling days due to winds. Salty Dogs advice made our trip enjoyable and safe. We still paddled and had the most incredible snorkeling and a weather update and check in the salty Dog mid trip. Amazing. Combine that with the Scamper boat transport and the suprisingly wonderful hikes we had a superb trip. Thanks Salty Dog.
