Amazing lamingtons - the best we've had! Interesting, enjoyable flavours that sit proudly alongside the delicate, super soft sponge of the lamington. Great coffee and delightful staff too. In addition to sweet treats, we had the leek and gruyere pie, the miso eggplant onigiri. We had a really lovely time and left with a box of 4 more lamingtons to enjoy at home. We will be back!

Cute little place, staff are so polite and friendly. The toilet was a nice luxurious surprise (warmed toilet seat). I got a hot choc and the Yuzu meringue lamington to have there, plus some takeaways. Lamington was light, fluffy and delish

Tokyo lamington is a Sydney based cult dessert that has recently expanded to Melbourne and heads up you may want to get there early as they popular flavours sell out quick. My heart was set on yuzu meringue but sadly there were none left so I consoled myself with a snickers and blueberry cheesecake. Both tasty and at $7.50 a pop reasonable for what they were. The rotating flavours is what will keep you coming back

Stopped for morning tea planning only to only grab a lamington, but stayed for drinks on onigiri - best decision ever. Cute shop with happy friendly vibe and smiling staff. We ordered the kombu mushroom and tuna wasabi onigiri (not too potent), the Yuzu espresso and hojija latte and both got sake chocolate lamingtons. Everything was fresh and flavourful, well worth the trip.

We visited just before closing time, most of the lamington flavors were sold out. We manage to try the charcoal pumpkin, it was delicious, perfect size and fresh. The hot drinks were also fabulous!

So delicious, the fairy bread popcorn lamington was amazing and I enjoyed the macha strawberry one as well. The banoffee one wasn't as good as the others, I found it a bit bitter for my tastes, but I still enjoyed it. I look forward to going back for the snickers and the yuzu meringue lamingtons.I did have a bite of the Yuzu one and it was a really nice citrus flavour. The Onigiri are very Japan sized, I suspect for Australian customers we probably need a few to feel full enough.Oh I should mention the drinks they have on the counter go excellently with the lamingtons!

The Lamington are a bit too sweet to my preference, but it is good for those who loves sweet haha. Their service very nice and kind! The design inside is minimalist and a little Japanese vibe, I like it hehePs: the Yuzu Lamington is sweet but GOOD!!

Well crafted lamingtons with interesting flavours and thoughtful takeaway packaging.I like lamingtons. I usually made them the traditional way - chocolate and coconut coating. So, I was quite curious about the different flavour profile at Tokyo Lamington.I selected 3 to try, out of a possible 8. First, I really like the base sponge cake - it is very light (and not dry). The OG is like a traditional version. My favourite is actually the yuzu lamington, unusual with a torched meringue-look and with a sharp, tangy yuzu curd filling. The blackberry pepper berry lamington is savoury-ish with a light peppery taste, but the texture of the cake is denser. Finally, it has to be said that the packaging is very striking, thoughtfully designed (and undoubtably included in the pricing). I carried the 3x lamingtons in a cardboard handbag" secured with prong paper fasteners. The 3 lamingtons are packed individually in their own boxes
