Terrible! Long wait for lamb shank and lamb rack. Then when it came was big serving of vegetables very litte meat on both plates. Never seen such a tiny lamb shank. And they cut the bottom half of lamb rack off so was virtually nothing left. Steamed vegetables had a burnt taste after 2 pieces of carrot I figured out the burnt flavour was from the vegetables... how can you burn steamed vegetables? Left a burnt flavour in my mouth and every breath taste burnt for a long time after dinner. Noticed a few other people left without eating as well, so not just us with a bad experience. Would definitely not recommend. Stopped going a while ago came back hoping new chefs hopefully better food. Still bad, and made feel sick.

Wagu burger terrible; expect home made patty for the price. Only ate half.Great chips.Lovely staff.You've changed, fair enough.We still want value for our money.

Great location, close to Helensvale Westfield, Gold Coast Highway and M1 Motorway. Shopping centre and petrol stations, a bottle shop next door. The pub is OK. Lots of poker tournaments are held. Gaming machines. Good place for cheap eating and drinking.

Used to be amazing up until recently, with $15 meals lunch and dinner. Upped the prices by more than 50% and is now just an average pub. Better to go elsewhere.

We were there for the Kid program and decided to stop by Helensvale Tavern for dinner. They are now using Chewzie to order from the table, but they come with processing fees. We have the Sat special Pizza + Soft Drink for $20, lamb cutlet, fish n chips and steak n chips kids meal. The food is great and generous in size.

Had the chicken parmy and it was quite disappointing. The cheese on top was hard seemed like poor quality tasty cheese and, there was barely any tomato sauce underneath, and very little ham. There were maybe 10 pieces of chips under the chicken and the crumbs on the chicken were falling apart.Service was quite slow, went there on a Wednesday night and it was quite busy so expect a wait. The price was good but the quality of food not so much.

Awesome place to go to. $20 for a pizza and jug of beer on a Saturday night, yes please!!! Food was amazing, staff were friendly, and such great value for money. Pretty good deals all throughout the week, my favourite is obviously on a Saturday night

Wow. If you would like to have an average lunch in an average situation this is your place!!! We are locals that have been coming here at least fortnightly. we have managed to overlook the fact that the parmy have gone up from 15 to 23 dollars in the space of 2 months. This afternoon I dared to order said parmy at 2.30 pm. On the dot! Kitchen closes at 2.30!! I was at the bar and ordering at 2.30. Kitchen should “shut” at 2.31!! Do you get a speeding ticket at 100!?!?Hi, in response. I was NOT running late. I was in line at 2.29 waiting to be served. The person ahead of me ordered a pizza and chicken wings. They came out about 15 minutes later. The chef wasn’t on break at 2.30.Yes we have been coming for ages. You are our local and within walking distance of our home and usually staff are great. Not yesterday. The clock turned 2.30 as I got to the counter. It was a bad decision not to serve us and your reasoning is untrue.
