Go Boating Serviced and carried out some major repairs to my Sea Ray 180 Sports, unfortunately the boat had issues starting straight after the service being done, costing me more money. I was P... off, having to pay more money for something I believed was part of the service, adding to the frustration the Manager, Joe showed no empathy, However the owner Gary spoke with me explaining the whole process giving me total peace of mind, Thanks Gary.

I've always had my boat serviced by Gary and his team. I always noticed their professionalism, technical knowledge, passion, attention to detail and pride in their work. Impressed by this, I decided to re-power my boat with Go Boating. The quality finish of their work exceeded my expectations. They took their time to plan the re-power (including re-doing the dash) and explain to me the details of the build.(I had a lot of questions)! Gary is a excellent boat mechanic. His prices are good ,goes through the issue's with you . Also shows you the parts he took off and replaced and explains what the problem was. I first meet Gary when our family were going to buy a boat, he gave us some great information on what to look for and said when I find a boat I'm interested in to give a call. Which I did ,I gave him information on the boat and motor. He told me It was a good buy and he was right. This is the reason my family use Go Boating.

I usually don't leave feedback on Google. But after visiting Go Boating today, I just had to acknowledge their professionalism. New to boating I took my boat in for a service and all I can say is wow. These blokes know their stuff and even better they took the time to talk me through everything and even talked me through getting better performance from my boat.Gary and Brent thanks a million, I'll be back and I will tell my mates too. After not being able to find the parts I needed anywhere locally I was met with some of the best service I have ever had. Gary was very helpful and took the time to go through everything with me. What he didn't have in stock he was happy to order in for me. I definitely recommend this store! Thanks again.

Ill give you a run down about the recent experience i had with go boating smeaton grange. At the start spoke to gary he was nice enough to store my engine while the boat was away being sand blasted. He charged $200 to take the eng off and cables out steering off etc.I asked for a quote for the main wiring and some bits and pieces never got one. After 2 weeks they said to bring the boat in and it took another week to quote it. Being weeks out from christmas they gave me a estimate of $2000 and i said i would like a proper quote. A day later they sent me a price for $2900. How can you under quote $900? Joe (mr know it all) but cant even work out a normal boat rewire quote.In the end i said ill pick the boat up took them another 4 days to get it ready even though they wernt going to do the work. Spoke to gary he said he would quote me for the engine to be put back on and a board. Never got the quote just a message saying come pick up the boat its $550.At the end of the day it isnt about the money even though most places wanted to charge alot less pays to do some research for the long run.
