Confucius Palace Dumpling Restaurant
This is the most disastrous chinese restaurant experience I’ve ever had.The photos online doesn’t describe the restaurant in full details. From the outside the venue looked run down, untidy and probably needs a fresh coat of paint.As we waited for our food, I could see through the kitchen and the cook was pulling the dumplings out of the freezer which was disappointing.We ordered mixed steamed dumplings and dumplings soup. As I suspected the dumplings were bland, tasteless and lack flavour. The soup was watery but luckily there was some chill flakes around to spice it up.

Confucius Palace Dumpling Restaurant
Very nice place. Bit hard to find. Staff very nice and friendly. Serving was quick, I ordered pan fry dumplings (pork + mushroom) + steam rice. Everything was delicious. Atmosphere is welcoming. I recommend it to everyone who is looking for tasty dumplings!

Just ordered from here and was very excited to eat some authentic dumplings...when ordering (take away) I asked if they had some veggies to go with the dumplings. I was told that they did have a large veggie dish ($22.90) so I ordered it. How disappointed do you think I was when it turned out to be around $4 worth of veggies that didn't even fill the container. Seriously, this is not ok. I lived in China for 18months and was impressed with how honest and proud they are of their food and service. I can say wholeheartedly that you guys are neither of these things.

Great little place to get very good Chinese food and delicacies.Dumplings are delicious.We ate the Peanut Salad, super yum...... We have now been back four times.... every time the food has been very good.I ordered the “Char Siew BBQ Pork with rice & veges” Chef's special .. omg yum!

This fantastic restaurant is just off the mall in Alice Springs. It is very reasonably priced, very tasty and the staff are exceptional.In the 4 days I've been in Alice Springs I think I would happily visit this restaurant each day

Confucius Palace Dumpling Restaurant
I spent my twenties in Melbourne, eating amazing dumplings in Chinatown. When I moved to Alice back in 2016, I couldn't believe my luck - some of the best dumplings I've ever had, right here in the desert! I've since moved to Darwin but have never found dumplings I like as much as Confucius Dumpling, so it was great to be back here again this week. They're not as cheap as Chinatown dumplings, but they're made fresh and full of flavour. I recommend pork and cabbage fried dumplings, and the smashed cucumber!

Great food, lovely staff. Why only 3 stars? Table cloths (albeit under glass), table numbers are filthy. I often would like to sit outside but chairs are covered with spider webs underneath which look a bit like they could be red backs. Not appealing. The place needs a deep clean. I hate to know how the kitchen looks.

I am really happy that I can enjoy authentic Chinese food in Alice Springs, where an oasis city without so many tourists. On their table, the homemade chili sauce is available,very fragrant,can be used for dumplings or stir into steamed rice or noodle soup.This is a restaurant popular with Orientals and Westerners.
