ibis Styles Mt Isa Verona

Well located in the centre of Mt ISA. Free parking on the street outside. Rooms are motel style but very large and comfortable. Hot shower and AC works well too. On site restaurant that is handy too.Reception was awesome on check-in and out and made me feel valued as Accor member with my welcome drink and a bottle of water on arrival. Thanks!

Staff were really great and super friendly. Room was… not so great. Mostly outdated, some minor aesthetic issues - peeling paint, staining on bathroom counter etc. There were cracks in the sealing and some water bubbles in the paint in some areas. Mini fridge was running for the record of loudest appliance in the world. Room was sweltering when I first got there, as it faces the sun during the hottest part of the day. Kick the air con on and you’re all good though, so crank it. Shower was awesome and the bed was nice and comfy. Overall, it was fine for an overnight stay and served its purpose well for a decent price. I’d consider staying again for a short trip.

Hotel in very good location and the pricing is decent.Next to ATM, take away, other walking distance services, restaurants, etcThe hotel own restaurant is okay (couldn’t order some food due to stock issue). You can order food to eat in the room instead.Street parking is free right at the front. They also have secured parking in locked compound for $10/dayRoom is sizeable.Internet was good.Things that could be better:- Not enough wall AC outlets for plugging in charges and such- The bath towers not large enough and not great quality- No where to hang wet clothes- 8AM in my opinion is a bit early for house keeping knock especially on a weekend

Stayed 4 nights, great central location to walk everywhere, rooms were fine. Didn’t eat there but enough options close bye.Normally a 4 star but the staff and especially Kiwi lady at front desk were so lovely they deserve 5!

Clean, good rooms. Great restaurant with Italian style food. Great wine list. Even offered some wine tasting to get the bottle we liked best!

Stayed here just for the night and unfortunately that was enough for me. Rooms pictured are nowhere near the same as what you get. This hotel is run down and it shows. Sliding door to go on the balcony was impossible to open. Kettle on the inside was full of mould. Lovely cleaning lady did replace it promptly. Got ready for bed only to discover the bedsheets covered in yellow stains all over. I have photos of this if required. I expected a better standard for Accor. Disappointing. Staff were friendly.

Been several times, this visit was a huge disappointment. Must have only renovated part (I wasn't aware of this) and we got the old and more expensive. New ownership since our visit Dec 2022 and they have made some serious mistakes I believe. Asking now for $60 for early check in and/out, Isa has few flights... Booked for 3 persons, only 2 of all required, seeking assistance. The room was sub-standard and the person on, really had no repor or understanding when issues were raised. Cleaning staff were friendly respectful and helpful with the things for 3rd person and another mug. Pool clean and area surrounding clean & tidy which I appreciate. Will try alternative on our return.
