Huge pieces of fish. Others have mentioned the chips, but we enjoyed them. Definitely recommend.

Food quantity to price is horrible. You get 6 bucks of chips for 24$. Service is slow and they aren't reliable. We've given them 2 chances and won't be going again.

Fish was lovely, but 2nd time our chips, potato cakes and dim sims were all over cooked.

11/6/2023Edit: Went past fish & Chips Strathfieldsaye Takeaway today and it was open again.Edit; For the past several weeks I have been past Fish & Chips Strathfieldsaye Takeaway only to find it 'closed due to illness' as mentioned this has gone on for weeks....a very long time. I am starting to wonder if this store will reopen.Previous review;There is a saying, build it and they shall come, and come they did,… in droves. The night we went to the new Fish & Chips Strathfieldsaye Takeaway it was packed. There was standing room only in the shop with customers that had already ordered spilling on to the footpath outside. This new fish and chip shop is sparkling with all new appliances fixtures and fittings. The service is friendly and there is ample room for your car in the huge car park. On the menu there is the normal fish and chip shop fare however the surprise here is a range of Chinese takeaway meals too.

New Fish & Chip business opens in Strathfieldsaye - The shop was packed with excited locals that we had finally got a new Fish and chip shop since our long and much loved shop had closed last year 2022.It’s only early days for the New F & C but the fried fish was excellent however the chips were Yellow not your normal brown golden colour - Not sure if we will be going back unless we hear that the chips are what we consider “Normal “ colourIf the owners of the business read this could they please change their cooking style of the chips!

Fish was excellent. A good portion and perfectly cooked with crispy batter. My favourite fish shop.

Got the seafood basket, was OK but expensive for what we got. As others have said, need more chips. We got about 12 chips to share between 2 of us.
