I recently purchased a shade sail for my dad on the Sunshine Coast and was recommended by a friend to use Cool Outdoor Living. We couldn't have been more happier with their service and quality of product. From the first phone call with the helpful and friendly staff, through to Darren who did the follow up, measure and quote and then onto the installers, we had a fantastic experience. We have used Darren three times over the last five years. At our home, investment property and business premises. Extremely happy with the service and quality of my shades and blinds and installation. I had a few quotes from other companies, but Darren from Cool Outdoor was the only one to make suggestions on how to redesign our ideas and make our spaces even better. The price was very fair, at my age I have learnt you get what you pay for.

I had sail put up in Dec 2021. Colour of poles wrong and sail flat (not on angle so water could run off). Just had it fixed Feb 2023. Only reason company came to rectify was because i refused to pay until job completed. In addition, with sail being flat water pooled and then poured down heavily in one area on car sunroof causing costly damage. At no point did anyone apologise from management. Poor form.

We had shade sail that needed repairing at one of our rental properties. Anna was very helpful talking about our concern over the phone. Darren attended the property the next day and took the sail shade away to be repaired and returned to reinstall a couple of days later. Great customer service with a smile. We would happily recommend Cool Outdoor Living .

The company came to replace my sail because of storm damage. They were extremely helpful and efficient. The sail they replaced the old one with was slightly larger at no extra cost that gave extra shade from the hot western sun. I couldn’t be more appreciative of their friendly and professional service and I would highly recommend this business .

Could not fault the whole experience from start to finish. Darren came out to do an approximate quote, when they came out to do the final measure he somehow managed to change the design so my whole driveway was completely covered with no additional cost. On top of that just last night I had a major leak inside due to the big downfall and I phoned Darren to ask his opinion on where I should start with a solution. He was at my place within an hour and fixed a cracked tile that had nothing to do with the shade sail, he went above and beyond, he provided actual honest customer service. This company is definitely client first unlike a lot of others out there where it’s money first and once the job is done they wash their hands of you. We undertook a major project for The Ginger Factory with Darren from Cool Outdoor Living, firstly the commitment to the project was outstanding, the timeline was tight but everyday Darren turned up with a smile and worked tirelessly to help us achieve our goals. We have since had Cool Outdoor Living back to execute other shade projects for us at the park. Great local company to work with.
