NEW HAMPTON SHOP IS NEAR REAL ESTATE AT THE ESK TURNOFF INTERSECTION OF HIGHWAY.POSTAL services at the back of the building on HAMPTON Street. limited hours operation. Nothing more at Hampton store.HAMPTON STORE IS WAY BETTER THAN ITS EVER BEEN. use it or loose it.lyn says new shop open near realestate.PLEASE support them at the new place.

Shop is probably OK. However, why are they doing the postal service? I pass by many times but always outside of the hours (8:30-11 and 2-5). To make a special trip I have to do a 40km round trip. The postal hours ARE 7:30 - 5. And they insist that parcels be picked up within 10 days. Because of the high cost of travel, we go once a week to town leaving at 7:30 and back by lunch. This is to accomodate doctors appointments etc. Complained to Australia Post but no joy. Buying online has now become too difficult.

Charming cafe!Great atmosphere! So neat & inviting. Loved the fresh flowers on each table & the late lunch we had was enjoyable. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Will definitely pop in again if ever passing through.

Fast and very friendly service. Drop in and say hi while enjoying a meal or coffee in their outside eating area. Beautiful.

I’m sorry Hampton store, but I went to this cafe, I ordered smashed avo and poached eggs with salmon, and added sausage and hash brown. Bread type: I said multigrain. This meal was not good at all, and ultimately we did not eat the meals. We both get the wrong bread, our eggs weren’t poached, they were fried and cooked through, the yolk was white and powdery kinda cooked (not exaggerating), the salmon was dried and discolored on the outside edges like it had been left in the fridge uncovered, same with the sausage I got, tough and dried, basically jerky at this point. The avo was unseasoned and had brown spots. And the ‘hash brown’ was just an oily rubbery potato scollap. I took one bite, Then just ate some of the unbuttered black & gold white toast they gave me. I’m now in the toilet. Also my coffee served on a like a dinner plate which is a little weird, but not a problem. The girl who was serving, who was very nice, also did not know how to add on extra’s/ what to price them, and needed to call the owner, I was happy to wait while she did so, however when coming out to the table to collect my card to pay for the extras, she stood directly behind and I was not sure if she was even still there, my friend had to tell me she was behind me still, some server training may be needed here, it’s always a good idea to face your guests, she again was very nice though. I don’t ever leave negative reviews and generally hate to hurt others feelings, but this was not good and to be honest I would warn anyone thinking of eating there. Side note, I also noticed in the store section they are selling paper towel for $16.80 or something, I get you gotta make some money from your items, but damn is that price hike.

This place is so well set out and the quality of the food and service e was outstanding. The owner certainly takes pride in this place; it shows and it is certainly justified!
