Had a great night out celebrating our 43rd wedding anniversary. Haven’t been to Poons for a number of years but l can tell you nothing has changed. Still lovely food and efficient service. Food well priced and made hot and served promptly. Don’t miss this place!!

Love Love Love the food especially the dim sims (huge) and spring rolls (huge) and the fried rice… delicious..5 generations of my husband’s family have been going there over 60 years, definitely wonderful food.

We had a lovely last minute dinner at Poons on Friday. We went in with no booking but they found us a lovely table and we ordered promptly and the food came out quickly and steaming hot. Everything was delicious and generous serves. Love this place and will be back regularly :)

Fantastic night out with the ladies from work. Delicious hot meals: sizzling steak, lemon chicken, chilli chicken and special fried rice were all prepared quickly and hot. Staff very polite and attentive at checking things were to our satisfaction. Would recommend checking them out

Really enjoyed our dinner tonight. Really good stirfry Singapore noodles and a delicious chefs special Lemon grass and chilli beef, was very flavoursome. Highly recommend, I've been here several years ago, it is 10 times better. So if you've tried it before it's worth another visit

It’s tired and overpriced. Yes we all know inflation is a thing but $8 for ONE San Choy Bow… that’s just highway robbery and it wasn’t even goodSatay chicken was watery and Bland. Didn’t even have any satay flavour. Stingy on the chicken tooSpecial fried rice was tasteless. For a large I counted 2 prawns, about 3 pieces of ham/bacon and not much else.$8 for one scoop of deep fried ice-cream too. Far out. Even Sydney isn’t that expensiveI didn’t get food poisoning, unlike my last visit 20 years ago. So that’s a plus.And I caught Covid here too…
