Flour Drum
Great little cafe with an outside dining area with an overally lovely ambience throughout the place. The food was good, and I love their giant handmade cookies. We came 1.5 hours before closing, and it was quiet. Unfortunately, the only downside had to be the lack of staff around.

This place it's quite cool, first of all it's massive goes all the way down and out in a little garden full of plants, there are fish and 2 rabbits aswell in the back yard.Food is good and definitely worth a try. Rustic decor and love the many quotes painted on the wall. Service was smooth and friendly. We will definitely be back.Keep up the good work ✌️

Great food, great coffee, great vibe & giant cookies. What’s not to love. Family friendly and lots of space with a quirky courtyard. Love the wall with quotes. Good conversation starters.

Solid, without being knock your socks off. I had a full brunch. No complaints aside from the portion being a bit stingy. Poched eggs had an OK gooeyness, bread was fresh, avo ripe. The American had a great flavour but the flat white was way too milky. Good, but not great. The staff were generally kind and attentive.

Very friendly and cute place. Unfortunately all the tables in the garden were taken so we stayed inside but they have so lovely garden with many flowers and other details as well. Food felt really homemade and brought some emotions. That’s a really good place to start your day! Highly recommend.

Met up with friends for brunch. Enticing menu with a bunch of different options at reasonable prices. I went for corn fritters (cooked perfectly) and eggs... My wife went for mushroom medley, and our friends had barramundi... All were tasty and well cooked. Finished off with a (very alcoholic!) mince pie. Service was friendly and prompt. We also loved the bunnies in the courtyard!?

Food here was pretty average. Was disappointed with the red velvet lamington as it’s sliced in a non-lamington way and the flavor was just alright.

So many good things to say about Flour Drum, where to start? Was our first time in Sydney and were staying nearby, the positive reviews led us to choosing Flour Drum for brekky one weekday morning. Our first impressions were that the cafe was small…. Up until we walked past the front counter and into a labyrinth of whimsical retro decor. The space reminded us of a cafe from home that recently shut down, we were excited to have chosen here.We ordered the buttermilk pancakes with bacon, and two coffees. The menu was quite simple and a little pricey, but we were not disappointed. The pancakes came out so soft and fluffy, and the coffees were smooth and full bodied. The gentleman that served us was really friendly as well, and easy to have a laugh with. Sitting outside made the experience worth it in my opinion, as it was so peaceful yet exciting to be immersed in.Definitely recommend to anyone in the area, if ever back in Sydney we will definitely stop back in!!
