POSTMASTER HOTEL
Three of us popped in for a quick meal on Monday night and thankfully they're open when most restaurants are closed. They were fairly busy and it was good to see that a few tables were cleared and re-used. Ordering is easy via QR or simply at the bar. Our starters arrived but no plates or cutlery on the table and we had to ask for them. I had the eye fillet steak (Mondays special) and it was perfect. The capricciosa pizza was surprisingly good but the grain salad was missing a little flavour and bland. The staff were friendly and helpful except l one that needs to learn to smile and pretent she's enjoying her work.

I ordered grilled fish and chips, however I received very little fish (see attached photo) and the chips were sparse and overcooked as well. Some staff seemed cranky when I was ordering.

What an amazing Hotel!! Nice friendly Staff & food was Sensational / Compliments to the Chef's!! I am from Brisbane & I would love to pick up the Postmasters Hotel & take to Brissy / would be so popular in Brisbane!! Everytime I come back to Melbourne I will pay a visit! & to lovely Kew!! Bit noisy.But food was excellent. Staff friendly and extremely helpful. The seafood linguine was great. The Chardonnay, which the barman went down a treat.If it hadn't been so noisy it would have got 5 stars.Keep up the great work. Loved the new fit out

Fabulous menu and delicious food.Eye fillet special on Monday night was a winner. The chips were the BEST!!!Great service and lovely atmosphere. Would go back again. Only issue is that toilets are downstairs and to gain access to venue you need to also climb stairs. A problem if you have mobility issues. Apologies; some of my photos had food that was already touched. I wasn’t quick enough before people dived in for their delicious food!

Right at the junction, definitely a spot that stood out. Right by the tram stop, it’s enjoyable sitting outside just watching traffic , trams and people on a lazy midday with the dog. Ease of QR code menu ordering when seated outside, but also with option to order inside for those that opt to do so.Food is tasty - had the arancini and chicken parmigiana shared between myself and partner and sufficed for us both. Parma is moist and balanced with nice chips, loved the arancini.

Went here yesterday, customer service was really good with friendly staff.However, the food was not up too standard. I had ordered 2 of the eye fillets on the Monday $29 steak night, when I had received the meals on both plates the steak was tiny and incredibly dry and chewy, making it incredibly hard to eat.As I was about to leave, I had noticed that the table next to me who had ordered the exact same thing had nice big juicy eye fillets, which I found quite unfair that they got a delicious meal while mine was as if eaten leftovers that were microwaved.Furthermore I'd like to state I'm very disappointed with the meal I'd received. What went from a nice night to go out and enjoy a good meal, had left me with sadness and feeling sick to my stomach.I will not be returning here in future.I have attached photo's of the meat received.
