Lightscape building completed a major renovation and update of our 30 year old Leura property. The quality of the work was excellent with consistent attention to detail and good communication during the build. Rick has a great design sensibility and is a good innovator with heaps of experience.We are thrilled with the team’s work, all contractors were excellent.

Very pleased with our large wrap-around deck that we engaged Lightscape on, to replace the existing one. Rick who runs the company is excellent to engage with, friendly, professional, listened to what we were looking for and considered our budget appropriately. I had quotes from three other companies, and Lightscape came in at best value, with Rick having taken the time to really scope the job, and understand what we were looking for, including giving us a range of options to consider. The guys who did the job were efficient and polite, worked hard and left our place tidy each day. Rick came frequently to oversee the quality of the work. Really happy with the outcome and everything about our engagement with Lightscape, would highly recommend them. In fact we are already considering our next project working with Lightscape.

Rick and his team are quite possibly the best builders in the mountains. The LightScape team have been amazing all the way through the process. Rick's communication, design eye and guidance were essential in getting our 100 y/o house renovation completed efficiently, in keeping with our traditional, federation aesthetic, and most of all, done before Christmas on a tight timeframe and in budget.Throughout the process, Rick helped guide us to pragmatic and thoughtful solutions to our renovation and was extremely supportive of making our vision come true, delivering personalised advice and plans.I'm not sure how he has done it, but he has hired the most professional and lovely staff. Daniel, Billy and Gabriel did a lot of work on our house and were always greeting us and eager to relay the progress of our renovation. Scotty is an amazing builder and was more than patient with our questions and queries - not to mention staying late to do finishing work that others might have just left for the next person. Overall, all of Rick's team were great.His sub-contractors are all highly skilled and equally professional - his tiler did a 6mX5m squared space within a 24hour period, it was amazing to see - and the electrician went above and beyond several times to help the job out or make effective decisions to suit our build.Our beautiful 100+ y/o mountains cottage now has a functional, traditional kitchen/dining space to match. I can not recommend this team, and of course, Rick himself, enough.

I can't rave enough about the incredible work that Rick and his team did for us. We bought a dilapidated fixer-upper that needed considerable work. Rick was attentive and professional, offering creative solutions with patience and care. The end result is beyond my highest expectations. I couldn't be happier. Two things really stood out for me: one, Rick is warm and approachable with his clients as well as all members of his team, and it's wonderful to see his team working so well together. Second, Rick has a natural sense of what his clients want and he isn't afraid to gently intervene to make sure the end result is as wonderful as it can be. Thank you Rick. Rick and the team are amazing. I had been trying to find someone enclose our fourth bedroom for months with no luck until LightScape Building came to the rescue.
