Australia Post - Haberfield LPO

Excellent service, highly recommended. We recently had our passports renewed at Haberfield PO. The Staff members were very friendly, professionally took nice photos & completed all procedures in a short time. We received new passports 10 days after in the mail.

The man behind the counter couldn't be more rude. He wasn't happy with the way I packaged something and started laughing saying it was terrible. When I asked if it could be sent like that or not, he started interrupting me and yelling. He said, 'If you force me to send it I'll do it.' I again asked if it was okay to send it that way and he said, 'There's a zero percent chance it'll arrive, but I'll do it.' Obviously I repackaged it once he clarified that, even though he kept saying there be no cost difference but the bag did cost extra.I didn't mind repacking it, but he was so rude and not at all clear. I've had so many awful experiences with him.

Possibly the rudest and most unfriendly people work here. I was served by a man who held his hand up (as in a ‘stop’ gesture) to stop me from asking him a question. He also had his back turned to me at the time. It’s not a one off either. Every time I go here, the interaction is utterly unpleasant. I only go if I’m in a hurry because it’s closest to my place. Otherwise, I go a bit further to the LPOs in Leichhardt or Ashfield where staff are friendly, professional and treat the customers with civility. I’d give Haberfield LPO -10 stars if it were possible. Why bother to work in a customer facing role when you clearly despise people and treat them with such contempt? Time to hand the reigns over to someone with some professionalism, warmth and manners. I won’t be going back and very glad it’s not the only post office in the area.

Absolute rudest worker, swore in my face because he couldn’t type properly and wouldn’t serve me for about 5 mins of waiting. No one else was in the post office I asked if h could be served politely and he responded with what do you want. Rude

If I could give less stars I would. The two people who work there, especially the woman are consistently rude, disinterested and treat their customers with complete and utter contempt. I dread dealing with either of them. I only go because it's close to where I live unfortunately. If you can avoid going there, I would highly recommend doing so.

What a wonderful local Post Office! I went in unaware they were about to shut in 15 minutes and was able to get my Australian Passport renewed and my US passport photos taken without any hassle. Both passports have been processed and returned to me within two weeks! Very friendly and great service.

Bad experience, people not helping taking care for Australian Passport. A lot of unexpected problems for certificates always already accepted and approved for the Permanent Visa and the Citizenship.

Just came from the Post Office with a terrible experience. If I could rate 0 stars I would. I’m heavily pregnant and went to collect few parcels, the gentleman was extremely rude towards me, I ask for help as per my circumstance and he refused to help. He literally stood there watching me struggle with the packages, as well as rudely demanding for identifications and sarcastically handing my parcels towards me. Worst experience ever

I'm so sorry to see some negative reviews here. I have had nothing but wonderful service from Frank and Lyn. They are so helpful and went above and beyond to help me over the Christmas period and help me work out the best options for posting off my orders from my online business. No other Australia Post office has compared in my eyes! Keep up the great work both of you, you are an asset to Haberfield!
