Classic Marine Trimming

Gotta say the worst experience I’ve had with any trade.. a two week promised job took 4 months!! And even then such an average job.. the guys didn’t put screws back into seats, put Velcro in wrong places, wrong fitting items plus more.. the front bunny longe we asked to have Velcro straps put on, they put them on the wrong spot.. (I just got tired of the amount of time it took and then would be done wrong) really bad Max was very rude and condescending when turning up to a job and i was asking why it was taking so long and why he was so late… I kept my mouth shut at the time, so the job would be finished as I waited so long… I just needed it done so I could finally enjoy my boat.. steer clear of these guys at all cost.. had to have repairs done else where..I had made these issues very clear to Diane and the only response was we had to finish other jobs.. my job which was promised to be done straight after boat show in May kept getting put back behind other jobs..stitching is already falling apart.Screws missing and not completed after multiple times telling them to finish job properly. I finally got so annoyed with work not getting done or finished that I just cut these guys, and went elsewhere for finished.. job was ordered 1st of May and not finished till August 4 months later!

Beware of this trimmer. They do not communicate, they do not carry out contractual obligations agreed on. It is difficult to know how they remain in business. Total wasted space.The response by the business was pure fiction. There was no staff concerned only Dianne. I was not at any time disrespectful. I only wanted to have a job done and wanted to know when this would happen. There was absolutely no response from them and I sought to have the job done elsewhere. The response provided by them should further concern prospective clients.

We highly recommend Classic Marine Trimming. They fitted new Salon & Dining Room couches to our 60 foot boat. They used Mark McGill (All Coast Yacht Interiors) Mark and his Son were EXCELLENT, they took great care to remove the old couches and to fit the new ones. They turned up on time, communicated well and cleaned up their mess. We are very happy with the end result.

Approved their quote. Twice they didn't show up to two appointments to actually do the job! Completely wasted our time and set us back. They blamed their staff. We gave them ample opportunity to do the job but they were so unreliable, poor communication and so unprofessional. So glad we didn't pay a deposit to be mucked around for months by this company. Have since had the work done by a great company who were able to honour their turn around time and actually show up. Poor effort Classic Marine Trimming. A big thumbs down!!!

A big thankyou to the team at Classic Marine Trimming. My wife Karen worked with Dianne, Chris and Mike on 6 separate projects for our Lagoon 440 Catamaran “india”.These were all completed for us prior to leaving on our trip to the Whitsundays. We have been enjoying the fruits of there labour for the past 2 ½ months in all kinds of weather, a great test of their workmanship and product quality. They all passed with flying colours.Saloon lounge upholstery was removed and replaced, and a couple of foot stools recovered. Thank you, Chris, what a great job looks fantastic and extremely comfortable.All cockpit seating cushions totally remade, we love the aqua colours. Again Chris a big thankyou, they look fantastic and a joy to relax on.All flybridge seating cushions totally remade. Chris a big thank you, they are a treat to sit on for some of those 8 hour days at the helm.All front deck seating cushions fully remade with the inclusion of two new sunbathing lounges. Chris another thank you, these are great to use when the weather permits.Flybridge clears removed and replaced. Mike what a fantastic job, love the window you put in, quick zip up and we are totally wind and rainproof.Replaced some of the rear shade covers with waterproof covers. Mike a big thank you, they have been a real saviour for the inclement weather we have had on our trip so far.
