Yamba Aston Motel

Perfect location for us. Just a short walk to the shops. Room was a good size and clean. Staff at reception were helpful.

How disgusting. Toilet seal was on, but toilet looked like it hadn't been flushed, brown, and stinking. Bed ok, but slept with bathroom door closed, but it still smelt like effluent. No answer from calling the office. There was no answer again this morning. Left at 5am and negotiated the stairs in the dark carrying two bags and with knee problems. How hard is it to light a stairway?

Decent motel.There was nothing to hold the front door open so bringing stuff in and out of the room was a pain, as the door kept closing on us.Bathroom was a bit of a squeeze and had a window, that didn’t close fully, right next to the front of the room so everyone walking past could hear your bog.Walls must be thin as we could hear the people next door watching a movie and chatting away, when we were going to bed. Was smashed from driving up and surfing so we fell asleep right away.

Great room. Good quiet fans and air con. Bright lighting. Very comfy beds. Walking distance to club, cafes, restaurants. Away from traffic noise.

Five Star Accommodation in a delightful garden view room we enjoyed the comfy bed and all amenities.parking close to room and quiet area . Although only 50 metres to Bowling club and other restaurants and River and Beaches short stroll . Highly recommend for couples and families. Very caring managers too .

This place was amazing for the price point / what you expect from a motel. The water pressure on the shower here was top 5 in my life. The place has been given a facelift inside with the fit out of each room looking reasonably modern. They had netflix for my son to watch Thomas and friends and the location is a stone throw away from the main street. Parking is slightly tight, but all in all was a great stay, I would recommend and stay again.

Extremely disappointed since staff was significantly unhelpful. Travelling from Sydney, I booked a room. As I was an hour away from Yamba my booking was cancelled by a member of staff who insisted I pay a higher price for what I had originally booked. After some thought I agreed to pay the higher price, as I was making payment over the phone the receptionist Cara, said I had a short time frame to make payment (less than two minutes) since she was closing at exactly 6pm. She was not understanding at all and not to mention how rude she was - she was taking personal phone calls while she was on the phone with me. I don’t feel valued as a consumer at all especially since she hung up the phone on me at 6pm saying that she had finished work and can no longer help me. I would definitely not recommend this place to stay at. The owner or employer should definitely reconsider their staff who are representing the business as receptionists as it reflects on the businesses expectations and core values.
