Australia Post - Forestville LPO
Repeatedly at lunchtime when all the local workers come to post stuff there is a queue out the door. AGAIN it took 25 (YES TWENTY FIVE) minutes to get served yesterday- with ONE person serving. This happens all the time! I find the guys okay- except they won't help you find the cheapest postal option. I understand its not it their interest for you to pay less- but it seems to me they maximise the cost every time- so try to work it out yourself and save a lot of money.

Staff are very rude and unhelpful....don't bother. Post office is tiny with no space to complete any forms etc. Go to a bigger post office with more space and friendlier staff.

Went to this post office to pick up my parcel as i live around, this guy Alen or allen came out so i passed my id to him and told him i dont have a pick up note , only a text massage telling me to pick up my parcel. Then this guy asked me how big is the parcel, i said should be a small one because i only ordered a wireless headphone. Then he picked up a big box from the floor which i obviously know is not mine and he looked at me be like so you call this small?" i immedietelly told him this could not be mine and he saw the address realized he made a mistake. He kept looking for few minutes

Alan (or Allen) the Korean male worker at the post office was extremely rude and very unhelpful, I think Australia Post should fire rude and useless employees like him

As a local living in the Forestville area, it is impossible for me to avoid visiting this post office as I need to get my parcels from time to time. I can confidently say that everytime I have visited this post office, I have always experienced terrible customer service. Under the new ownership of Alan, I always leave feeling incredibly furious with his lack of respect for his customers. The first time, I went to take my passport photos. After he had taken the photos, I asked for the photos to be emailed. It was at this point he said in an annoyed tone, you should have told me before

It was a very stressful experience just to pick up my parcel. I have been questioned by the guy the reason to come (even I received a pick up notification) and why the parcel sent to the Australia Post. In his frustration, he showed me his computer and asked me to look. I checked every details in his computer which is all correct. I was very confused the reason he got so frustrated by serving the customers. Under the new management, the customer service has hit the bottom and need to improve.

Staff are generally quite efficient but not overly friendly, this could be a positive or a negative depending on preference. It's a post office and it works as such. 3 star rating because I think it should be open later in the afternoon or earlier in the morning because, If you work in the day you literally have no time to get there so you have to wait for a Saturday and make sure you go before 12. Silly operating hours.
