Equanimity Kangaroo Valley

Kangaroo Valley has always been our family’s favourite getaway but is even more so now that we have found Equanimity.It is a beautiful fully equipped home in the perfect location – 10 mins walk into town, yet perfectly secluded and nothing is better than sitting on the deck listening to the river.We have stayed at Equanimity a number of times now and our only complaint is that we don’t stay longer and more often. In short, it’s our happy place.

I spent the weekend at Equanimity Kangaroo Valley with friends recently and there isn't a more perfect location. The direct access to the river is heaven on a hot day and the multiple spaces outside were all beautiful.Equanimity is easy to find but feels like you've escaped to the most blissful place imaginable.

What a house! I recently stayed at Equanimity with some friends and their fur babies, and was blown away with it's beauty and charm. I flew in from Perth and really enjoyed the drive out there, the area is so beautiful and the local community were warm and welcoming (the food around the place is sensational BTW!) The property is incredible, the house has everything you could wish for and the design and layout of the house is so inviting and relaxing. Waking up every morning and strolling out the back to see the mist rising off the valley and the sun shining down was something I will never forget. A very special place.

OMG! This is an amazing property, perched above the Kangaroo Valley river, with manicured gardens, a well appointed family home and only a short stroll to the village. What’s not to love! We’ve now booked our second stay at Equanimity and can see this becoming a regular getaway for our family.

My family of four spent a weekend here before Christmas and it is everything and more you could hope for. The location gives you the feeling you’re a million miles from anywhere. The house itself was very well equipped and neat and clean. We will definitely be back.

From the time we entered the front door we loved every moment we stayed at this property so very comfortable. The location is perfect, from sitting around the fireplace enjoying conversations, to taking walks around Kangaroo Valley, a perfect weekend!

Equanimity - this place is all about calmness and composure.Upon waking up in the main bedroom you can hear the river below and the orchestra of native birds with the sun filtering through the bi-fold doors. A great way to start your day.We recently spent 3 x nights at Equanimity and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It has a modern rustic feel with a strong mix of Japanese Zen which is highlighted through its water features, landscaping and its sprawling decks.The house is also great for families and our daughter loved running up and down the track that leads from the house down to the river. Plus the local highlights like Fitzroy Falls and the township of Kangaroo Valley.Equanimity is clean and the beds are very comfortable. All amenities are provided and if you need a place to re-charge then this is it. We'll be back!

What a magnificent place on the NSW South Coast. The property is exquisite with everything that you need. The perfect place for a couples retreat or a family holiday. My husband and I have been a few times both with the kids and without and it never disappoints. The house and property is luxury with very comfortable beds, great bath and laundry f facilities and a very functional kitchen. With secure parking and great outdoor spaces that look over the river, it's the perfect place to relax.It's also a short walk to all of Kangaroo Valleys shops and cafes and a short drive to Fitzroy Falls and everything the Southern Highlands have to offer.Can't reccommend this place enough.

We loved staying at equanimity. It’s so close to everything . Beautiful home with all the amenities you would ever need . Beds were super comfy and a fantastic setup to stay with friends or family comfortably. Extremely clean and well looked after . Highly recommend for all seasons . Lovely for a quick get away or a week long relax down in the gorgeous kangaroo valley . We loved our stay and will return again .
