The Black Pudding Cafe
All day breakfast is always good, the eggs were poached perfectly, coffee was good but not great, or order took a bit of time, at least the service staff were lovely, we were in Echuca for the winter blues festival so we sat outside, we could hear live music playing close by, or was a great atmosphere.

The breakfasts here were incredible. Coffee was good too and everything was reasonably priced. Our dog was allowed with us outside which was great, and the staff were very friendly!

Awesome food, service and great coffeeHad the Eggs Benedict, the eggs were perfectly cooked and the ham was extremely tasty, side of mushrooms were great, really enjoyedDefinitely quality local ingredients and also recommend the side of Black Pudding of course

The better half and I just had breakfast here. I had a build your own which I included two eggs scrambled, bacon, chorizo, toasted turkish bread and black pudding. The better half had the baked eggs and a side of black pudding. The food was awesome, the black pudding was slightly spiced just right. The bacon was yummo, the scrambled eggs were silky smooth and the chorizo was a nice one. No complaints about the baked eggs, they were completely finished. Oh we ordered a couple of iced coffees too and they were nice!! 9.5/10

Lovely hidden courtyard by the river creates a wonderful ambienceGot the ploughman's platter to share which was definitely enough for 2, it included smoked salmon, ham, rocket/red onion in vinaigrette and the usual antipasto and cheese varieties. Ample bread both fresh and toasted to suit everyone's taste buds. The waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable. Also grabbed a large coffee priced at $5.5 and it certainly was a big one! the lactose free milk was $1 extra, which is a bit much i think. However, the mocha was delicious and well presented, it had excellent froth and a good coffee taste throughout as well as an aftertaste. I Highly recommend the Black Pudding to anyone coming through Echuca, it is our favourite cafe in the town (we have tried a few)!

Let's not get precious about staff not wearing masks and asking for vax certificates, like some reviewers. Perhaps Uber Eats should be considered if you're that way inclined.Black Pudding Cafe is an early-opener that's ideal for brekkie, as was the case for us. Genuine friendly service, bloody good coffee and some of the best scrambled eggs we've consumed. Keep up the mighty fine work, guys.

We had a delicious breakfast. The food was cooked perfectly.The only down sides- ordered long black in a mug but got a small cup, asked for coffee to come with the meal but it came well before, no cracked pepper AND none of the staff were wearing a mask, nor was I asked for my vaccination certificate.

Good but not great. The bacon was a bit salty and the banana bread lacked a bit of flavour. Poached were great. Nice coffee. No cutlery offered with take-away meal.
