City Golf Club

We took the kids to the new play area. They loved it. Lots of fun. The lunch was nice but a bit overpriced. Haven't been there for a few years, but was very impressed by the changes made.

Love getting up to Toowoomba for a hit city city golf course.Beautiful course, great layout, and greens. Always in great condition.Club house is amazing and a great place to finish off a day on the course with nice meal and a couple of drinks.

I've been here twice. I'm impressed with the access ramps and close parking/drop off for those of us who have challenged mobility. Staff are friendly and helpful. It's a good place to meet and socialise. Well run and safe. The food is fairly typical pub food at reasonable prices. I attended a function in a room overlooking the golf course last week. The weather was hot and humid but the function was smoothly run. The view out to the golf course is calming and pleasant. Bathrooms are clean and accessible.

Was a good meal The ladies that brought us our food were lovely and the meal was nice. Unfortunately when we arrived and they only had a table for 3 people under my name. I had booked a table for 7 people 4 days prior and we were seated at a table for 3. The lady rang me back 5 minutes after I called to confirm they could seat us. We were left standing around waiting to be seated. They came up with a booth for only 4 people which we squished 7 people into. After asking if we could swap with a vacant table that would fit us that was only booked for 5 people, a waiter bitterly told me no and she wouldn’t check with her supervisor. Very disappointed with the service. If they couldn’t fit us in the first place they shouldn’t have said they could and we would’ve booked elsewhere or organised a later time. We have always come to the city golf club for lunch and dinner and we’ve always had a lovely time so this situation was disappointing.

A busy club environment with everyone enjoying themselves. We booked to celebrate a birthday over Sunday lunch. We enjoyed three different meals..congrats to the kitchen staff. In fact I found all the staff friendly and efficient. Many thanks.

We really enjoy our meals and fast service each time we eat there. We have tried most meals and tonight had the Wok in specials yum! Hokkien noodle combo & sweet n sour pork

Has been a long time between visits. Service was excellent. Couldn’t fault it at all. The meal was very very nice and pricing decent. Steak was almost cooked right, but very tasty. Will be going back again. Have certainly out heaps of effort jn there food and service after many years of basic foods.

Lovely bright open club.Friendly service from Jack at the Clubhouse Cafe and Cathy making cocktails.Ate at 6pm and my meal come out very quick.Really enjoyed the Asian Pork Salad with lychees and crispy noodles. Very fresh and good portion size. (I don’t normally eat any chilli or spicy food, the dressing must have chilli in it, but still enjoyed it).My tropical martini helped calm the spice down.
