Rylstone Caravan Park
Rylstone Caravan Park is small and quiet but has all required amenities and is very clean well kept and is run extremely efficiently by Wendy.It is right by the river and we saw kangaroos up close in the misty morning and heard native birds singing- memorable and very beautiful.I would highly recommend this place for an overnight or a longer relaxed stay as the surrounding country is lovely.

Have stayed many times used to be run by apex $13 a night. Now has another lesee who is never there. Filthy camp kitchen if you could call it. Very few operational powered sites. Called for instructions how to use the washing machines the so called manager not taking calls. I understand the lease is up for renewal lets hope a better person takes it on. This site is now becoming a slight on the beautiful town.Stayed what a disgrace.Thank god the manager is going at last, woopee.

Overlooking the golf course, with showers, toilets, laundry and just a short walk into town or to the river for a dip. There is a tennis court too.It's an hour out from mudgee, Bathurst, Lithgow, surrounded by national parks.The town is super tidy and friendly, has 3 pubs, bakery, food works, multiple cafes, Mexican or Chinese dumpling restaurant.Just a heads up, the town is mostly closed up on public holidays, and you need to get to dinner early, dinner serves end at 830pm.

A lot of maintenance is required. Taps need new washer not just turn off tight. Cleaners let a lot to be desired. The laundry and the kitchen are the same room and filthy. Mowing and gardens need to be done. Clothes lines are just about falling down.

Good basic camping. Toilet , showers, clean and well keot, run by local Servuce club, Rotary I think. Laundromat, powered sites, some with water connection. Fees collected by caretaker . $27 / night. My second stay here. Stopped 4 nights. Very tranquil on the outskrts of the town. Recommended.

Rylstone Caravan Park
This park is about to undergo redevelopment so comment about it's current state would be inappropriate.It is well located, being a short walk from both the town centre and the local club. Rylstone is a good base for trips to Mudgee, Glen Davis, Dunn's Swamp, Hill End and Sofala. The locals are very welcoming.

Rylstone Caravan Park
Stayed here on a number of occasions, previously good. Lots of things now in need of maintenance. No washing machines working. A couple of the power sources for vans not working. Nowhere to hang paper hand towels in mens. On top of this Bowling Club meals have gone downhill although a very good alternative is the Globe Hotel, great meals.
