A 7 day Evap Air Conditioning Service

Have been using 7 Day Evap for 3 years now and can highly recommend them. Steve returned my call promptly and was very accomodating in booking it in. The technician, Daniel is very experienced and professional and arrived on time. I find them very reliable and received good advice and feedback.

Very honest and professional company with brilliant service. They came out within an hour of our call. Unfortunately our unit is very old and could not be repaired to the company's high standards. We were advised to install a new unit even though there is nothing for the company to gain from that as they only service and repair evap systems (much to our disappointment!). It is so rare to find such honesty in this day and age.

7 day evap attended to our broken aircon quite promptly after sending them a text message and they called shortly after to attend for a service.The cost was $974 to replace a part of our evaporative air conditioner. The technician did state that it is an old unit and may need replacing in the future.Within 24 hours our airconditioning stopped working again. We called 7 day evap and they never answered our calls. We sent them text messages (Thier preferred method of contact) stating that the aircon has stopped working again and to please call us to discuss further repair or the next step.7 day evap did not call us as we requested and after many phonecalls and text messages we had received just two returned short text messages referring to the control box. We wanted some elaboration so again requested a phonecall to discuss the next steps further.After very minimal contact and 7 day evap ignoring our request for a phonecall my partner then sent them a text message stating that if they do not contact him properly by the next day then he will proceed to make a complaint and write a negative review.It appears 7 day evap did know how to use a telephone, because shortly after my partner received a phonecall from 7 day evap. However, the phonecall took us completely by surprise as the man was very hostile and the language and comments he made were in my opinion extremely intimidating and implicated violence towards us. I felt very uneased by this and completely shocked at the unprofessional nature of the phonecall.We were asking for a phonecall to discuss our broken aircon as we were 1k down and felt like we were being ignored.After the phonecall we have not spoken again with 7 day evap as we feel we have exhausted all options of coming to a resolution and them attempting to fix our aircon again.We have used a reputable aircon company whom have fixed the exact same part that 7 day evap replaced except they charged less than half the price that 7 day evap did.We did not get a new airconditioning unit nor was it the control box causing the issue (which 7 day evap stated was the issue from thier minimal correspondence via text message)We are not entitled people and I have never written a bad review about a company. But after the disturbing phonecall my partner received I feel was disgusting and this should never happen professionally or personally.I feel if 7 day evap did the bare minimum and followed our phonecalls up then our experience would not have been this bad.

I was very happy with the service I received. They were able to come out and fix my aircon within a of couple days notice. Friendly and reliable, we will be using them again in the future.

These guys charged me nearly $1000 to repair my evap unit & the fault returned only 1 day after the repair. There after I made many attempts to get them on the phone and sent many messages requesting a call back so as to figure out the next steps but based on their short and unhelpful responses it felt like they were blowing me off, after a week of not being able to speak to someone I threatened to give them a negative review if they didn't contact me within 24 hours at which point they shortly after called me back, they were extremely hostile on the call and in my opinion they attempted to threaten and intimidate me with the implication of violence. A week later I used a actual competent repair company who replaced the exact same part for less than half the cost. In my opinion you should avoid this company at all cost, as I was truly disgusted in their behavior.

Thanks Steve for 9 years of excellent service, mostly at very short notice! Often you have delivered bad news as to fixing the problem, usually because my unit is old (like me), combined with power surges and hard water causing major breakdowns. You have always been honest and up-front about potential future problems and additional associated costs. Your charges are within an acceptable range. PS thank you for introducing me to Pay ID! Fantastic service! Would highly recommend them. Our evaporative air con was having issues and cutting out - we're due to have a 39 degree weekend so needed it sorted asap. We called 7 Day Evap and Steve was here within 40mins.He was friendly, professional and had our air con working again within the hour.We've only owed the house for less than a year, so didn't know much about the system. Steve explained it all for us and gave some helpful tips on getting the best life out of it. Price was reasonable and service was exceptional.

Today I was desperate to get a technician out to fix the error message on the keypad for our evaporative aircon unit. It had been saying service on the keypad for the past 4 months and the system wouldn’t turn on at all. I googled air con technician and A 7 day Evap Air Conditioning came came up (along with many others ) so I rang the first one that came up on the list who stated they respond within 3 minutes of receiving an online enquiry as well as these guys.The other company did as they claimed and phoned back quickly. They said could have a technician out at the earliest 8 days from today but to book them in I would have to pay a $140 call out fee immediately to secure the booking regardless if I found someone else to carry out the work in the mean time. I said I’d have to call them back to confirm payment details .Then I rang A 7 Evap Air Conditioning and heard their voice message which said to text them the type of Aircon unit I had, the fault message that I was getting and the area on which I lived .About an hour later Steve rang from A 7 day Evap Air Conditioning who listened to me explain what the system was /wasn’t doing and very clearly explained a few steps I went through whilst on the phone to him which involved pressing certain combinations of the buttons on the keypad and ‘Voilà!’ our system was up and running again !!So far we’ve not encountered any more problems but Steve did explain that it didn’t mean that there wasn’t necessarily any problem at all with our unit but if something was to happen and it stopped working that it would mean that he would just need a few parts but he would be able to come out tomorrow if we needed him to.The fact that he saved us a call out fee shows that this company is honest and trustworthy from the get go.I highly recommend them for your Evap Aircon service and maintenance.

Extremely happy with the service we received from Danny. He really helped us out in a bind and we found him to be honest and reliable. This is the second time we have used A 7 Day Evap - air conditioning services and I would highly recommend them.

I Contacted evap service company as I needed work done. Very professional response .I was given a time estimate arrival between 10 and 12 the day i booked.I had a competent tradesman on the job at 10.20. very impressed and can highly recommend their services, from the person who answered the call to the tradesmen who did the job! i also gave the guys that came a six pack of beer. as they were so hard working.
