Trawool Reservoir Camp
No public toilets, great views, can get busy at times with a fair amount of dirt bike and 4x4 traffic.Accessible to regular rwd, fwd vehicles via Reservoir track. (don't use either of the other entrances unless you have the ground clearance and low range 4x4 DO NOT FOLLOW GOOGLE MAPS DIRECTIONS!)

No toilets, lot of toilet paper flowers. Limited flat camping area. Not suited for vehicle based camping

Trawool Reservoir Camp
Nice campsite if a little rugged. Has minimal tables and no toilets but is great to get away from the masses. Not sure if I would drink the water but it's definitely a good spot for a swim on a hot summers day. Watch your spot for getting in and out and there is plenty of broken glass around.

A nice spot if you can a camp close to the water. We went on the Australia Day weekend and were too late for the best spots but still found a place for our small tent. Some rubbish left behind from previous visitors, but that seems to be the norm these days.

Trawool Reservoir Camp
Good little camp site. 4x4 only access. Camp-site is on Falls Creek. Plenty of room for swimming, kayaking, fishing etc. Water doesnt flow very fast, so it is great for kids. Great base camp for a weekend in the forest. There is phone reception at the camp site. The camp-site doesn't have any facilites, so u will need to be self sufficient.

Trawool Reservoir Camp
Very nice camping spot, if you are totally self sufficient. There is no toilets, no firewood & the water in the reservoir is definitely not a drinkable option without treating it 1st. The camping area is very limited. Although there are a few other camping spots around the reservoir. It is possible to get here in a 2 wheel drive that has decent ground clearance & in dry conditions. Just make sure you are taking the correct road's if in a 2 wheel drive.

My family and I recently spent 2 nights up at the dam. We camped at a spot opposite the Trawool camp site on the other side of the dam. I would rate the area a 7 out of 10. I live in the south east and this area offers great camping that's relatively close. The area is very popular for motor bikes so if you don't mind the on going noise of both 4 stroke and 2 strokes barking near by, you'll enjoy it here.

Great pretty place to camp! No toilets - that i recall. Also, just be careful for those of you who do not have a 4wd - read your maps carefully to enter the easy way - as you will most likely get stuck on that big ol' bumpy hill!! :)
