Drove past this place today as I remembered how they treat unvaccinated, like Covid Nazis. They referred me to another job agency because of my vaccination status.

Some of the most unhelpful and condescending staff imaginable. Would give 0 star if I could.

Left another Job Network that I thought was no good and ended up at this nightmare, every time I have been there I get threatened with the loss of payments for no reason, it's like the first thing that comes out of their mouth. For people who make their living from the unemployed, you would think they would have a little more respect for them. I see they have security there now, wonder why they need it?Rumour has it they have joined forces with the worst labour hire company in Melbourne, Tailored Work Force, if they ever send you to them, be prepared for a second nightmare.

Susan, clearly their very worst employee has absolutely no manners, respect or decent attitude. I left their business solely due to her.If the matchworks HQ ever read This, they would do well to reprimand her or outright fire her. I am not the only one to have had issues with her. She clearly resents her work and people that cone in front of her. She is better suited for another job, one that has no dealings with the public as she has absolutely no idea how to deal with the general public

With DES new being overhauled I am overjoyed to hear that 52 of the 104 DES providers nationally will begin to be contacted and informed that some or all of their services will end due to poor performance and eight will lose funding for all of their services.You pathetic wretches that feed off of misery can get to packing your bags, I sincerly hope with everything I love that you are one of the eight to lose all funding.

Matchworks Preston is a marvellous and caring job provider. Without their assistance and understanding I might be homeless now. Special shout out to Raj. What a champ.

Since I've seen a few reviews made in the heat of the moment (not that I can blame any of them, this system is cruel at the best of times) I'll be trying to give an accurate review of the job agency, rather than the job seeker system.In my experience, this center is certainly better equipped than others I have seen in the past. Private rooms for consultation rather than coming to an open desk and speaking there. Not much of a waiting area, but that's not too large of a problem. A few issues with internet services, at least on the worker's end.Speaking of workers, they were genuinely professional and helpful. They knew of services beyond just the basic centrelink services, and were prepared to offer and explain them. What's better is that the services were offered, rather than *forced* upon you. Again, at least in my experience.They were a bit late for my appointment, though, I was the first of the day, and they were figuring out the internet issues I mentioned. So, again, hardly something that pushed the line into unprofessional or outright disrespectful.I know, that for many people, this system is cruel and rigid. And unfortunately, the people given the hammer are these job agencies. But genuinely, I do believe that this agency is among one of the better examples of working well in a cruel system.If you have concerns about this job agency, please take my review to calm your fears a bit. I hope that your experience can be as pleasant and as respectful as mine was.

Payment cut repeatedly despite them knowing I don't have a phone and a medical condition.. Never bothered to e-mail me appointment times, despite repeated requests due to phone problem. And some of the people working here have zero empathy or understanding of other peoples tough sociology-ecanomic circumstances.
