This place is icon of the northern suburbs (Fawkner). A family run business built on excellent service and quality products. The staff are wonderful, engaging and friendly. The cakes are incredible and our coffee daily fix is always welcome and meets our needs. Highly recommend and do yourself a favour.

A delightful spot to visit! The staff are so welcoming and friendly, and openly accommodate my friends and I, our prams and our babies. We really appreciate it. The cakes and sweets are also super delicious, paired with coffee, makes a delightful experience!

I recently went to Campbellfield with a friend and on the way back he said lets stop and have a coffee and snack at a fantastic shop he knew of in Fawkner. When he turned off Sydney Rd and into Jukes Rd I asked him where the hell are we going, is this some kind of joke? He said just relax and be patient, we're nearly there and when he turned into Bonwick St I really began to think this was some kind of joke. I'm used to the great cafes in Carlton and St Kilda and here I am in the back streets of outer suburb Fawkner, sheees.We parked the car and went into a rather unassuming cake shop called Pasticceria Padova. I am not kidding the smell was like I'd just walked into cake heaven and the place was packed with people. They just all seemed to know each other and the ladies and men serving were very friendly. People were ordering not one or two cakes but trays of beautiful and delicious looking freshly baked cakes. One lady picked up a special ordered cake. We sat at a table and ordered our coffee and I just had to try at least one cake. After the first coffee we had another and even more cakes. It was just all to good to be true! The cakes were amazing!This Pasticceria Padova has to be one of the best if not the best bakery/cake shop that I've ever been to. The cakes are excellent and all freshly baked on the premises and the prices are amazing. They also make special celebration cakes and I saw a few walking out the door. The coffee is also great and the people are amazing, super friendly and provide excellent service, just all round fantastic. I had two coffees and quite a few different cakes and I also took a large box of cakes home with me! Everyone back home loved them, especially the Cannoli. I highly recommend Pasticceria Padova and it's no wonder that many drive from afar to get their cakes.

I rang them at 7:45 am on a Monday morning and asked if there was any chance of picking up a birthday cake for that day by 9am. They made it happen and as usual the cake looked and tasted amazing

Twice the croissants weren't given to me fresh, but from the day before at the full price of $5.50 each (and I had worked in pastry shops in the past and I know how it works), I won't go again!

A warm and inviting atmosphere. The aroma of freshly baked goods wafted through the air, inspired me to explore more. I have finally found the first pasticceria that makes the true classic continental cake!

An absolutely stunning range of sweets and a coffee blend to die for. I'm very happy I started getting my coffee here because it is one of the only places that hasn't but their prices up yet.Staff are ridiculously friendly and the cafe itself smells heavenly. Would definitely recommend the pastizzi if you're looking for an afternoon snack at home.
