I had a lovely time when I dropped by today. I was just having a look at the plants when I was greeted by a lovely lady, who told me I could buy some if I wanted ($2 or $4 a tube, and there are discounts if you get more). I made some selections, thinking I would be able to get some for my neighbour and I to play with and swap in pots but then I learnt more about the types of plants and environments they needed. I found out they preferred the ground and needed more space! Thank you for explaining :) I will be back when I sort out my gardens!

An amazing community garden. Excellent collection of natives and some food plants and very affordable. They also sell worm wee and worms. Very friendly volunteers who take the time to explain things.

I totally love the idea of The Habitat, native plants and wildlife friendly urban gardens. However this is not a human friendly place, I left after less than 2 mins. Not even a hello how can I help you or even a greeting instead an attempt to humiliate, berated like a naughty child for simply picking up a pot to look at a plant. Poorly labelled plants and super snarky old bags best avoided.

Stumbled across this. I found the ladies very kind and patient with me and my 5 year old to select 6 plants for $6. Amazing!!
