Hills District Dog Walking

I can't say much about Karen as a dog walker. After a lot of run around we were not deemed sufficiently respectful of her to deserve the honour of having our dog walked. I can describe how it all played out to the best of my memory, and let y'all be the judge.I used their online form on a Friday enquiring about dog walking services. I needed a dog walker as I was having an operation in a couple of weeks and would be on crutches and not mobile for many months. Anyway, I got an email response from Karen on the Saturday morning that she would call me over the weekend. So far so good.The weekend went by and I didn't get a call, but on Tuesday Karen did call while she was driving. I found out that she doesn't approve of dog parks and made me feel bad for taking my dog there. I got some other unwanted advice about how I should look after my dog, and she asked me a couple of times what his name was. I got the details I needed and wanted to know the best way of contacting Karen. She told me 'talking'. If I emailed or sent a text she would just call me straight away and talk.So the next day I called to organise walking later that week. There was no answer so I left a message. Two days later Karen called back, too late to do the walking that week but hopefully we could sort it out for the following week. Karen said she would come by to meet our pup on Sunday. When I expressed surprise that that would be Mother's Day, Karen helpfully informed me that she doesn't care about Mother's Day. She doesn't like public holidays either, they just stop her from making money. Nice!On Sunday morning Karen left a message saying she couldn't come over because of Mother's day.Karen finally came over with the actual dog walker on Monday to meet the dog. My wife came home half way through the meeting; she had been doing lots of driving earlier and had just finished a run before taking our dog out for a walk. She was pretty tired and understandably distracted. She said hello but left the dog walker organisation to me. So I wrapped up the organising, and _finally_ we'd organised the walking. Sweet! Now I could relax and stop worrying about the dog walker. The operation was in a few days so I had it organised in the nick of time! Huzzah!Or ... not huzzah. The opposite of that. Karen sent me a long text message later that night saying that thank you for allowing us to meet her, but she could not walk my dog because my wife did not acknowledge her enough and she felt disrespected. She explained that she is a professional business owner, not just a dog walker! She deserves our respect and adulation! Frankie will need to find another walker!If you don't value your time and like getting loads of unwanted advice and judgement, Karen might be just the walker for you. Otherwise do yourself a favour and avoid wasting your time with this unprofessional and self-righteous individual.

We are so impressed with Karen and the team who walk our Vizsla a few times a week. The girls are very professional and reliable and take great care of Huxley while they're out and about - he always comes home tired and happy. They make an effort to take the dogs to different places and socialise the dogs in positive, controlled environments. We highly recommend Karen and the team.

Karen took good care of our two dogs for three weeks, she fed them at our house and played with them. When they needed some medical care she messaged us and we were able to get medications to her which she loving administered to the dogs. I highly recommend Hills District Dog Walking. :)

I am so happy I chose Karen to look after my dog Holly whilst I was away. She was so accommodating to my many requests and took excellent care of my precious girl. I was able to enjoy my time away feeling confident that Holly was being walked and cared for by an experienced and professional individual. Thank you Karen.
