Waddouring dam

Good campsite. Not huge but if you get in early there are some decent spots.Not a great deal of wood around, so bring your own. But a few firepits are available along with a long drop (which is a walk from some sites)rock and quarry make for an interesting walk too. Not a lot of road noise either.

What a picture perfect place. We camped opposite the lake with our two dogs for 5 days. Flowers everywhere. Water looks clean with lots of tiny fish but so cold still. Toilet which is very clean but no bins. You take your rubbish with you and seems that everyone does! Fire pits too but you need to take your own wood.Be careful of a concrete culvert that is not completely fenced down the bottom. Luckily saw our older dog fall in but I couldn't reach her. Thankfully my partner has longer arms. We tried to block it of with branches etc. Didn't work. Our puppy fell in a short while later. We didn't even know. Eventually heard lots of splashing so he was rescued too. Very dangerous for dogs and small children. Very close to picnic tables, parking etc. It should have better fencing and also be signposted with warning signs. Besides that, would gladly stay here again. Dump point would be great but notthat far too Bencubbin where you can pick up the basics.We had the whole place to ourselves. Heaven

Nice spot to camp and have a fire

A new spot opened up. Great overnight stopover. Long drop is pretty full and needs emptying. Beautiful area to walk and look at wildflowers

Nice small free camping area.

Unexpected find. Stopped for lunch. Can camp here, a clean long drop.

Beautiful spot for a picnic or bbq

Nice little spot not a lot of room for caravans more of a picnic spot.

Nice little spot not a great lot of room for vans near the dam but up near the road there is more room to park for the night.
