Walked into a random restaurant on the street for lunch and now it became one of my most favourite Chinese restaurants in town. Friendly staff, attentive service and delicious food, I can’t ask for more.

The look from the outside can be deceiving but I am glad Hobart has ‘Hometown Secret’. The dimsum is really delicious and authentic. In addition they have an excellent service with friendly staff. The food comes fast and hot. If you are looking for an authentic dim sum in Hobart, look no further. Try this one, you won’t be dissapointed.

Love this little gem in town. I've been here multiple times and will definitely go back again. Pretty good for Hobart. Decent Yumcha and great stirfry noodle. The Hot & Sour Soup was too salty though! The waitresses are very nice and great service.

Great service, best ever chicken and corn soup. Satay sticks are good value. A delightful lunch, highly recommended.

Food was delicious!!! Pretty big menu so lots of options. I got the spring rolls, pork buns, and pork/prawn dim sum and it was so good! Also reasonably priced, and food came out very quickly. I definitely recommend!

The foods are fantabulous!We have been living abroad for more than a decade and couldn't find any yummy Msian foods even when we travelled to msia/sg. We were travelling with 4 aussie mates from Singapore to Melbourne then Tasmania and found this lovely spot with friendly staffs. Genuinely grateful to the chefs for your dedication and culinary expert for making such wonderful Malaysian cuisine.We ordered phoenix claws, siumai, prawn dumplings, garlic prawn spring rolls, bean curd skin rolls with shrimp, bbq pork buns, hainanese chicken rice, beef rendang and egg tarts. All is awesome, full with happy tummy! Must try! Can't wait to return again whenever visit Hobart!
