The Cheesecake Shop Launceston South

Cakes are nice and sweet. Shame the same cannot be said about the staff that run the shop.I've been in twice and both times the staff have been grumpy and not welcoming in the slightest. I certainly wouldn't want to order a specific cake from them as I doubt they'd put much care into it.

Worst ever tried to get a mud cake for my grandson with blue icing just to be told no ,then asked for a customised mud cake was told no ,asked for simple drip icing and a name was bluntly told no we don't do that . Got a fantastic mud cake from woolies for 1/4 of the price with dripping and his name absolutely delicious. Rude customer service, no customisation at all, was a long time customer.Will not be going to cheese cake shop again !!.

Probably a good idea to have a price tag on the candles... And if you compare their cakes go the cheesecake shop in Brisbane, they make it a bit sweeter (I thought they would use the same recipe?) So there was a slight disappointment there.

I'm allergic to cinnamon, I don't know why you use cinnamon in all your bases, it's disgusting, I ate a cheesecake a few weeks ago and the base had cinnamon in it, I started itching for days. Not everyone likes cinnamon, after talking to a few people that get cheesecakes there regularly, they confirmed that all bases have cinnamon as they do taste it. NO WHERE DOES IT SAY IT YOUR RECIPE'S THAT THE BASE HAS CINNAMON. PLEASE ADVERTISE THIS AS OTHER PEOPLE MAY BE ALLERGIC TO CINNAMON. Worst cheesecake shop ever. I have been to others around Australia and they don't use a cinnamon base. Dissapointed.

Disappointing. We've had cakes from the Launceston cheesecake shop for many years, the baked wildberry being one of our favorites. But the last few times we've had it, it's been a completely different cake! It's not like it's been baked at all! The base is crumbly and very sparse and doesn't support the cake at all. The cheesecake itself is soft and gooey, not at all a baked texture, it tastes different, and it has some gooey marshmallow looking things on the top but even more concerning is the clear substance that coats the top of it! What even is it and why is it there? I don't understand how something that used to be so perfect has become so sad and miserable. Has this business changed hands in recent years? If there's a head office I think we need to get in touch!

The Lady that served us was absolutely lovely. When she found out it was my son's birthday, she genuinely engaged with him and wished him a happy birthday, asked how old he was and hoped he had a wonderful day. All of the cakes looked delicious and it was hard to make a choice, but we settled on an old favourite. The the store was clean, well presented and smelt delicious when we walked in. Pricing wasn't to bad either. We will definitely be visiting again.

My family have always bought all our celebratory cakes from here. Lovely accommodating staff and delicious cakes. Highly recommend!

Easy online ordering. Organised pick up time and date. Short line to get into the store. Amazing, friendly and helpful service. Incredible cake, just what we wanted. Very soft and delicious. Thank you
