Absolutely terrible service the lady hurt me with the drill twice and even ruined my nail and she wasn't going to fix it. Untill I asked will you be fixing that ! It also snapped where she had to fix the nail. It's been 4 days and my finer till hurts never will I go back again !

Had really awful experience with the new management and staff. Have been going to L’amour studio for more than 2 years now and it used to be so good under Terry. The staff working were really good at nail arts and very efficient. Last two times under the new owner/ management the experience was awful. I got colored french tips which peeled off the second day itself. The SNS base was so uneven(thick,bumpy and not buffed), the lady doing my nails made multiple mistakes. Did a very rough job. I had to ask her to fix the nails multiple times. The staff were talking to each other and clearly gossiping about customers if the customers asked them to do something. They painted the tips again the next day with shellac paint. Barely lasted a week before it started peeling off. The lady who seems to be the manager and her son have no idea what they’re doing. Both the times I made booking and they wrote everything down when I called. When I went in, they kept on asking if I had made an appt. They couldn’t find it in their register and kept talking to themselves and gave me attitude. They have also been overcharging, previously the rate was always fixed. Now when I showed them a design, three girls stood together and told me it would be $80. I had the same design done for $65 before that with Terry’s team. And you could easily pay for $80 for what the previous girls did. The nails looked really good and everyone would compliment it. The last two times, the girls did such a terrible job. On top of that, they get frustrated if you ask them to fix it. There was another customer sitting next to me who was complaining too but the new staff were not paying attention to detail. I won’t be going there unless Terry and the old staff come back. Poor service and quality.

This used to be my go to nail salon, but its clearly under new management and has gone downhill. the customer service is horrible and I will def not be returning. I was really disappointed and the quality of the service and the nails themselves.

I am a regular at Lamore and have been going here to get my nails done for the last 3 years now. The place seems to have a new owner. The old owner/manager Terry was amazing. He had great service and was very on top of all the walk ins as well as the booked appointments. When he was managing, I had no issues whatsoever.I visited Lamore again a few days ago, my appointment was at 6pm. I booked for sns nails and came in 30 minutes earlier to ask whether I’d be able to also get a pedicure. They woman that served me (who seemed to be the new manager) and a very young boy who was running the books (who seemed to be her son) told me that it would be fine for me to also get a pedicure as long as I paid cash. I thought this was odd because before they were accepting PAYID as a form of payment. I went and got the cash out and came back and had my nails done before noticing that majority of their staff were new. The lady who was doing my nails seemed to be new and had very little English comprehension. While she was doing my nails she cut me multiple times because she was continuously talking to the other new staff around her (including the manager) whilst doing my nails. The workers from before used to talk to the people getting their nails done because a lot of people that have been going to Lamore are generally locals who are loyal to the place so most of us are pretty familiar with the workers. In the end it took about an hour and a half to do my nails and once they were done they told me I’d only need to wait 10 minutes before I’d get my pedicure. I waited for over 45 minutes before someone served me and ended up leaving the place right before it closed at 8pm. Another woman who was getting her nails done had finished and told the manager she also had booked for a pedicure. It was already 8pm and she said her appointment was booked at 6.30. The organisation of the place and service quality has really gone downhill!UPDATE: I saw one of the employees who used to work for Terry at another nail place in Manor lakes. She told me he sold the place so he could take his family on a trip to Vietnam and won’t be coming back to run the place. She also said all the employees who used to work for Terry have now moved to the nail salon at the Werribee train station.

Booked appointment and wasn't seen for 40 minutes (2 other walked out after they had waited over 30 minutes for their appointment and still weren't seen) filed awful. Cracked acrylic not removed from under nails after. I had to ask to get 2 fixed as they were clearly stuff ups. And just had my hand yanked like i was to painful. Rude, rushed and poor quality. Third time I've been. Thought I'd give them a last chance. Never again

Best salon I have been into in a long time , friendly staff, the girl really think ok her time to do my pedicure, going back next week for nails to be done

Absolutely loved the service I was provided with. The lady who did my nails did a fantastic job, and she was incredibly friendly, too. Highly recommend this place, will definitely be coming back absolutely loved the service I got at this salon. Not only was the lady who did my nails amazing - I'm still admiring them days later - but she was incredibly friendly. Will definitely be a returning customer ☺️

Clearly under new management and will not be returning!Poor customer service, they don't listen to want you want. New female manager was rude to clients and the 2 young boys running books.Never had issues as walk in previously but now is a big deal. Even with appointment time there seemed to be over an hour wait, a lady with appointment was left sitting with feet in water for an hour before drying herself off and leaving, manager didn't care.All they did was talk to each other and not paying attention to clients. Whilst there they cut multiple clients fingers.Will not be going back or recommending.#bringbackterry
