service was great, the room spelt like urine and the carpets had bizarre stains on them which felt a bit gross, but overall good for a motel.

Great value room for the price. Got it for around $130 midweek. Close to ferry terminal so you can go all over Brisbane.

Excellent pricing, particularly given how close you are to the Gabba. It's about a 30 minute walk into the city or Southbank areas, but a very pleasant walk along the river. Excellent secure underground carpark, and a small pool (although not heated). The reception staff and cleaners were all very friendly, although the room itself felt a bit dated. There was no welcome info pack in the room, but free wifi allowed us to search things up for ourselves.

Noise from the street depending on the room you get, also in the flight path of the airport. Rooms are dated, security chain from the door was missing, two of the ceiling lights didn't work, the blanket was dirty and dusty with black spots on it, the room was cold, there was no heat (May stay) WiFi was great, and there's underground parking. Staff not overly friendly. This is not what is expected of a 4 star hotel.

My husband and I stayed here for four nights. It was an average stay - the rooms had everything we needed and there was wifi across the whole hotel which was handy for us as we were working remotely. However, no one came to check on us or service the room the entire stay (no new towels, no emptying the garbage, etc). There was also no in-room laundry and the apartment was very dated.

Roma are ok, no toast allowed (maybe a fire alarm thing) close to bus stop 15 mins gets you into town.

This is a very good apartment hotel. Modern, well maintained and spacious. The king room on the second floor had a great view of the city. It was very large, plenty of space for the suitcases, good wardrobe space, a small kitchen, large fridge and a very comfy king bed. The bathroom was also spacious, clean and very well laid out. Two nice arm chairs and a good sized tv that worked well! Free wifi and free parking - a real bonus. For $209 it's a bargain in Brisbane. The Shafston Hotel and an IGA are across the road.
