I should have read the reviews before purchasing the OVHC from Allianz for my elderly mother. By reading some of the reviews knowing some had been waiting for over 6 months ++ and yet to receive the fund from the insurance claim....ours which we had submitted in March, April and May this year would have to wait till hopefully by Christmas, if, they decided to pay!! They have every possible documents we could provide and their Clinical Care Team" is trying every possible way to decline my mother's hospital & medical claims!! Buyers beware – inept staff, disgraceful tactics, designed to frustrate clients into giving up.Same situation as most. 3 months with nil progress and getting the run around. Claims department make demands that are a not a requirement of the Product Disclosure Statement, resubmit data they have lost, get bounced from person to person, complaints closed without resolution then new ones opened, etc.My advice:1. Know your rights and take control!!!2. Keep accurate records of every conversation, email etc that you have with them. Request them to provide a transcript of each call.3. Express your verbal dissatisfaction with their PRODUCT, SERVICE, STAFF or HANDLING at the first sign of them being difficult.4. Record this as the date that your compliant was first expressed.5. Lodge formal complaint as soon as possible thereafter giving them 10 days to resolve.6. Demand a written copy of the complaint (not just the reference number) and check that it covers every single aspect of your complaint (no matter how minor).7. Don’t let them close your compliant and open a new one. They use this tactic to reset the 10 day timer and frustrate clients.10. After 10 days go straight to AFCA, it a free and independent service for consumers with teeth, but it costs the company money.

Took out travel insurance but wanted to extend the cover by a day and got hung up on 5 times after going through all the automated bs and 30 seconds of silence on the phone. Took ages waiting to get through to emergency claims as a last resort. Decided to go with a different company considering it was near impossible to get through to anyone.

You people are really something!! We trusted you and we started our car insurance with you and we were so assured that it’s ok if anything happens we have insurance going on! But no it’s totally fake! My husband is so disappointed with you! He had an accident before 2 weeks still there is no process! First allianz was giving option that if want replacement vehicle or cash settlement, we chose replacement vehicle as this vehicle was brand new we just bought in may and unfortunately he had an accident! So we wanted replacement vehicle and we contacted dealers in Adelaide they have this car available and still Allianz is not doing anything and saying that this car is not available till august so have to do cash settlement! What a fake people! 3 dealers in Adelaide have this car and we informed allianz about them but no Allianz is saying that it will take time why don’t you want cash and all but dude we want replacement vehicle, don’t you even understand that!I hope you can understand our problem and look into it genuinely!Please make a move faster so that we can get our car! Please!

Good luck trying to make a travel insurance claim! It's all online, and even after I've provided them with everything they requested, I waited months, had zero contact from them. I called and they said something went wrong with the lodgement, but couldn't tell me what it was. Made the claim a second time and still absolutely no contact from them. They will take your money and hide. Don't put yourself through the pain.

I am a mature age widowed retired teacher, who has had hobby farm, house and car insurance with Allianz for over forty years. As my renewal comes up, they have decided to decline my liability Insurance, as I have horses for pleasure riding on my place. I am very angry! This makes things impossible! I have to find another company. So much for loyalty and trust! I feel betrayed! - on behalf of my mother.

I've been with Allianz for more than 25 years and 1 accident claim only. A Fast traveling kangaroo hit the side of our car and experienced no problem with our insurance. I don't plan to go anywhere else as long as they keep their price's reasonable.

Byers beware, when you make a claim Allianz Assessor's market value is 20% lower than all available market value data and when pressed they won't provide any data to support their valuations, so I can only assume they make up numbers to benefit themselves. Despite having been insured for market value with an additional $5000 of cover for accessories I need to take out a lone to replace my vehicle. Moving my vehicle fleet to Shannon's ASAP.

I would like to try and attach an image to say that I’ve been on hold now for one hour and five minutes. I was also on hold for over an hour on Friday. I have sent in legal document that has allowed me to sell a to somebody else for them to own a car, and to say that I no longer have the car which is a Vic roads paper I have been ringing Allianz for over two weeks. Apparently they’re so complaints department doesn’t have a human being that works. I have literally just spent the last 10 minutes of the end of an hour and five minute phone call to actually asked for the name of person he as apparently been putting me on hold to speak to for over a 40 minute he reckons he has spoken to 2 people, but yeah has no name for either personAlso has no manager that you can transfer me to? Is also sitting in an offshore account apparently from India, so I’m not actually speaking to somebody that is in Australia his name was aadiphthya apparently so good luck, if ever you get him on the phone I wished I could give zero stars, I will never ever be with this company ever again
